  1. We will have to wait & see how the Bills draft & how S.D. drafts this year. That should give us a fair idea of Nix's ability.
  2. I hope Buddy can get him to change his mind. It's about time the Buffalo Bills got PHYSICAL again.
  3. Manning made it known BEFORE the draft that he did not want to play for the Chargers, but NY would not make a deal with S.D. before the Draft in the hope S.D. would pass on him. S.D. definately got the better of that deal.
  4. Who knows? If were LUCKY he has an eye for talent.
  5. We haven't had a Hurricane in years. I have never seen a Tornado since I have been living here. Traffic is not that bad, not like Buffalo, but what City is? High Crime? I don't think it is too bad........just watch your children ( for some reason Fla does attract some CRAZIES) There are some gay beaches, but I say live & let live, I just don't go there..............there are MANY beaches that aren't gay.
  6. You are right about the distance, Buffalo is actually about 100 miles closer than Tampa, my mistake. You are wrong about Football in Tampa. Tampa is NOT Jacksonville!!!!!!! Tampa has supported the Bucs since the beginning & aside from the Gruden years the Bucs have had terrible teams, so throw out history of failure by bad coaches as a Buffalo problem alone. Tampa also supported the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL. (Now they were a fun team to watch) If the Tampa job were to open it would be more attractive to a Coach than Buffalo for a number of reasons. #1 NO STATE INCOME TAX 2 Great Facilities 3 Great Weather & Area to live (makes the wife HAPPY) 4 Freeman is a MUCH BETTER QB than ANY on the Bills & the kind of QB a Coach can build a team around for YEARS. However as I said before, I would be surprised if the Bucs fire Morris so I doubt the job will be available.
  7. Tampa has GREAT facilities, is much closer to his home in Carolina than Buffalo, has great weather & is a very nice area to live (Tony Dungy will tell you so) Josh Freeman is BETTER than any QB on the Bills. He reminds me of Doug Williams. I think he is going to be a GREAT QB. He has the size of Big Ben but is much more mobile, has a GREAT arm & seems to have a love of the game. If the Bucs win this week, I would be surprised if Morris gets fired. The players love him & he seems to be a Coach with a future in the NFL. The Glazers are also strapped for cash since they bought Manchester United, so I doubt they will want to pay Gruden, Morris & Cowher for the next few years, especially since there may be no football in 2011.
  8. The reason you wouldn't do it is because you know what you have in Kolb & he KNOWS your system. You sign him to a new contract, that would be the logical thing to do IF you are happy with him.
  9. I agree, WHY would the Eagles want to trade Kolb? That would make no sense.
  10. Why would any team want to trade for Vick when the Eagles will cut him anyway? For that matter, why would any team trade for ANY of the QB's named?
  11. I don't know how anyone can watch TV without a DVR in the 21 Century. I have 4 of them & they are all hooked up to multiple TVs around the house. I will say sometimes I am so mad after a game that I delete it immediately then regret doing that.
  12. Who knows how much influence Russ has had in personal matters? I think Jauron had more say about players than Brandon has. Russ will continue to run the business & marketing side for the Bills which he is VERY GOOD at. Ralph may be tough to work for, but I would wager 90% of NFL owners are just as tough to work for.
  13. Dr. Trooth with a POSITIVE post! I like it. Maybe the next decade will be MUCH better for Bills fans.
  14. If you mean the players, then yeah. There is no way the owners give in an inch. I would not be surprised to see "replacement" players & the season play out.
  15. Pretty good analysis except Locker is staying in school.
  16. He broke a bone in his leg. No complications were reported. A joint injury is more serious than a broken bone, he should be fine.
  17. REALLY. Wood is in a wheelchair & that is not good? Wood has a BROKEN LEG! If Wood were in a BED with his leg in suspension......................THAT would not be good.
  18. I agree with you also. I don't want to see the Bills reach for a QB, but if a QB is there that they think will be GOOD then I hope they grab him.
  19. I think the news black out is Baumers point. NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS
  20. I don't think anyone is saying QB is "all" the Bills need. It is the position MOST in need however. The Bills have; 1) An INJURY PRONE QB that refuses to throw the ball to his WR's & is going to be in the last year of his contract. 2) A QB that has very little accuracy & is a decent #2 at best. 3) A QB brought off another teams practice team, that MAY be a viable starter at some point or may not. My hope would be the new front office & HC bring in a Vet QB & draft a QB (where depends on what they really think of Brahm). Get a couple OT's, LB's, DT's & DE's in the draft & free agency
