  1. All Trent had to do in the Dallas game was to NOT LOSE IT. The defense had the game won. JP would have won that game with NO PROBLEM. Against the Giants Trent Lost that game as well with his interceptions. "(how'd those other QB's do in those games?)" - THEY WON!!!!!! thats how they did. I do support the TEAM - SO FAR JP is PART of that team. WHY DON'T YOU SUPPORT THE TEAM, THE ENTIRE TEAM - Not just a player. Especially one who hasn't shown all that much YET.
  2. So you are saying the 2004 Bills were a GOOD TEAM? The next thing you will say is the 2004 Bills were better than the 2008 Bills. PLEASE STOP MAKING THINGS UP.
  3. I went to a Monday night game in the 70's with three friends. (The same game some IDIOT made his way across the guy wire that holds the net for field goals) After the game ended, leaving the stadium, I got separated from my friends. During this time I ran into a friend of ours "Bob" & his wife. Everyone asked where I went & where was I for so long. I told them I ran into Bob & his wife & talked with them for a while. They all told me I was drunk & crazy, Bob had moved away a couple years before. No one would believe me until they saw Bob themselves a few days later. He & his wife were in town visiting relatives.
  4. You are spot on with this post 'The Dean'. Chris Simms is a no show @ Bucs camp, & it is being reported EVERYWHERE, even though it is WELL KNOWN Simms will not be a Buc next season, and no one EXPECTED him to show up.
  5. IF Trent sucks next year will you have had your fill of him? I will have, & I hope the Bills draft a QB this year to be on Deck. As far as names go, Trentite or even Losmaniac are NOT DEMEANING, BUN HUGGER & other such names are.
  6. I think the odds on that happening are just as good as the odds on Trent playing 16 games!!!!!!!!
  7. Talk in Tampa is the Bucs are interested in him. Joey Galloway is getting on in years, is the Bucs ONLY fast receiver, & their only small receiver.
  8. We will find out what Oakland thinks of him. They have the right to match the Titans offer for him.
  9. This is EXACTLY why he should be a Bill next year. He has more value to Buffalo as a back up for a year than a low round draft pick would be.
  10. "bash a rookie QB without justification." WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION? Are you serious? DID YOU SEE THE DALLAS GAME? (If you didn't it will be on NFL Network, Sunday 4/6 @ 7PM & 4/7@ 6AM) Along with the last three games of the year I think that is PLENTY of justification. I will not put those games all on Trent however, Juaron, Fairchild & the ENTIRE TEAM played a part in those losses, just as they did in JP's losses.
  11. You Trentites CONSTANTLY bring up JP's 4 years in the league despite the FACT he only threw like 4 passes his ROOKIE year, and was jerked around his 2nd & 4th year. This is not to mention the lack of a decent O-line, and crappy team in general. NO QB IN THE NFL WOULD HAVE HAD SUCCESS UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES. Next year Trent will be surrounded by a MUCH BETTER TEAM than JP ever had, we shall see how he does.
  12. They could have been asking for three first round picks for all we know.
  13. You are SO right. Can't refute the HATERS.
  14. Why can't A player have BOTH high character AND high talent? I agree with Marv, talent without character will not win.
  15. I think the entire point of this thread is to REFUTE the HATERS past declarations that JP would be a cancer on the team PERIOD. By showing up for VOLUNTARY OTA's it shows JP is a GREAT teammate & not a potential CANCER.
  16. I agree about having players on the field. Many people knocked Peerless, but his injury last year may have been the Bills biggest loss. It may have been because of a lack of a #2 receiver or another reason, but whatever it was Fairchild did not run the same offense last year as in 06. That is why I said I would take Mularkey over Fairchild LAST YEAR. If you don't think an Offensive Coordinator affects a game himself, just go back to the Miami game Mularkeys last year in Buffalo. I also think Randy Moss would have had a bigger impact in Buffalo last year than Brady would have.
  17. Based on the Dallas game alone Edwards should not be the starter.
  18. I like both McGee & Greer. Hopefully James will help with the bigger receivers.
  19. I think a HUGE part of that is the Offensive Coordinator. THANK GOD Fairchild is gone! I would have preferred Mularkey to him last year.
  20. Jerry Jones is NOT Dan Snyder. I would be very surprised to see him give up that much for McFadden.
  21. The last 3 weeks? How about the entire season? The Dallas game in particular! I do not understand anointing Trent the starter, he has proven NOTHING so far.
  22. I would like to see a Center added.
  23. I would be VERY surprised if JP shows up for voluntary OTA's. I would also be VERY surprised if he does not show up when it becomes mandatory.
  24. I TOTALLY AGREE with you about coaches teaching mechanics & having a student master them that's difficult. I have heard different coaches say it is especially difficult with STRONG ARMED QB's. They have said this is due to the fact they have gotten away with using poor mechanics because of their strong arm, so proper mechanics are not second nature to them as they are with a QB like Trent Edwards for example. I feel JP is still a young QB, and MAY YET become a good QB. I feel the same way about Trent, he may well become a good QB as well. (LETS HOPE SO) I just don't know about either yet, that is why I would like to see JP on the Bills one more year.
