All the 'QB competition' has shown up to now is that KH can't play a lick. Losman is a work in progress. Time to get started on the progress.

Could we give JP a year where he does have to look over his shoulder to see if he's being replaced? That was promised to him last year and it lasted all of 6 quarters. Can't one say he has gradually improved session by session, week by week? The key is gradual and the requirement is time.

Plus they had what...one running play in that drive? I'm sure our D was geared up to stop the run in the first series.

Which teams have any good superfluous linemen they would be willing to part with? I'd say there is a null list.

I don't recall a single time where a Bills QB had less than 3 seconds to set up and throw. That constitutes an improvement in my book. As I saw it, most of the sacks were coverage or QB slow to decide. The Peppers sack was the exception. Oh, and the almost sack where JP escaped...don't think he had 3 seconds there.

IMO, KH is earning nothing but a ticket out of town. If this is JP's competition, there's no real competition. I agree that the coaches would like to see what Nall can do but only to see if he can supplant Kelly for #2. Holcomb as a number 3 means his career as a perennial backup is over. Then the question is whether or not to give KH is walking papers. I say he survives this year but that's the extent of it. I wouldn't waste pre-season playing time on him unless Juaron announces JP as the starter this week.

Considering KH couldn't hit a long pass to save his life, really telling. Got to believe the long threat is why they're still holding out hope for Nall, though he looked worst of the three on long ball accuracy.

I'd like to ask Brown, if he wasn't a Levy signing, what is the fascination with Nall? He wasn't knocking the socks off anyone before he injured himself. Freudianly, I keep wanting to call him Null.

When you use the word 'never' there is one meaning in my lexicon. At any rate my difference with you is more than a nit. Holcomb's record indicates he is somewhat more accurate on the short to intermediate passes...something I didn't see in 5 camp sessions. I only thing I give Holcomb credit for is being more calm than JP.

As I have posted 4 or 5 times, KH cannot throw downfield effectively. I don't know if he ever could, but he certainly cannot now. Do you start a QB whom you have to scrap a significant portion of your offense because he is physically unable to perform it? This should be a rhetorical question.

Sorry,not buying it. I watched KH closely at practice this year and the his long ball is either innaccurate or a floater. He's capable of completing a long pass only when a defender falls down. KH qbing will get you 8 in the box all day long.
