I stand corrected. Linky According to the report, Stallworth told officers he flashed his lights to try to warn 59-year-old Mario Reyes, a construction crane operator who was rushing to catch a bus after getting off work around 7:15 a.m. March 14.

Just to clarify. Russ Brandon went to St. John Fisher where the Bills hold their training camp. So I was saying I doubt he'd move the camp elsewhere because of that. I also pointed out that SJF is between Syracuse and Buffalo which makes it easy for Bills fans in each city to access. That's what I meant.

Already being discussed in another thread.

Do you care if Bills players smoke marijuana?

There we go. -
Both could have easily been done. One doesn't exclude the other IMO. The legal repercussions should have nothing to do with the monetary repercussions. What he said. I'm pretty sure he wasn't an illegal alien and he was running to the bus to go to work not after it. This occurred early in the morning. Just curious, why? 1. House arrest and he can still play because he's not in prison. House arrest big friggin deal I'm sure he has a pool a nice rec. room and he can still have friends come over. 2. I believe his license is only suspended for life in Florida. If it's a national ban on driving it will be the first time I've ever heard of that. If he's caught driving without a license he'll get a slap on the wrist, and that's if they pull him over. 3. Who gives a crap what the victims family wanted. The facts are he was driving drunk and hit and killed someone. Two years in prison should be the minimum sentence for him. 4. 10,000 bucks for him like 10 bucks to you and me. The 1,000 hours of community service I agree with but it should have been after a few years in prison. 5. I don't give a flying about his settlement. IMO, that should have nothing to with it. To me it sounds like the family agreed to sell their loved one's justice for money. I think that shouldn't be legal. The punishment for each should be completely separate. Hopefully Goodell gives him a two year suspensions and tightens the punishment on DUI's in general.

If you play FF football one year you won't be able to stop. It's addicting, because it's a lot of fun. The best part of FF to me is busting on the other players. I've been the commissioner of my league for five years and nothing beats doing my weekly roundups where I lay into people as a sarcastic bastard. I refer to the guy at the bottom of the league as Lou Zer instead of his real name (I know but I think it's funny!) and of course I take a lot of doo doo myself. It's more fun than humans should be allowed. I do it through Yahoo! Which, IMO, is the best free FF site.

My reasoning is thus; Jonathan Stewart, Rashard Mendenhall and Felix Jones. I see those three guys cutting into the carries of Barber, Parker and Williams. I don't think those guys will put up the numbers they used to due to splitting carries. I may be wrong but that's my opinion.

Never mind about the link here's one. Thirty freaking days!!! I hope Goodell gives him a lot more than that.

I'm pretty sure that Barney Frank doesn't have any kids and most likely never will. She covers a lot of missing children cases and keeps their cases in the public eye. Her guests are insightful when she lets them talk. She does a lot of good with the things she does. She just is so much of a B word that a lot of people are totally turned off by her. He's also a pathetic liar. I love how he railed on Jamie Lyn Spears parents when she got pregnant and then said nada about Bristol Palin.

1. Are you redneck hunter? 2. Hmm, a 16 year old kid who gets on his parents nerves. That's a rarity.

Is this going to be a developmental league for the NFL?

According to this article he's reached a financial settlement with the family too.

That's absolutely ludicrous! Does anyone here believe that if Joe Shmoe had done the same thing that he'd get a plea deal like that? I hope ESPN is way off on this.

Reggie Corner In Line To Fill The NCB Role
Steely Dan replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If any of the new DB's show some promise and Youboty could fetch a fifth rounder I'd trade him. Phenomenal when healthy but that's not very often. -
MJD should bust out this year but I like going with tested and true first. I don't get the love everybody has for Brady as a FF QB. He's a top 25 pick but I'd take Manning, Brees, McNabb and Warner ahead of him. My reasoning is that it's obvious from the SB that if a team can get to him he gets rattled. Since he was injured last year he may be even more gun shy. IMO, he's far from a sure bet. Put him down the list and somebody will probably pick him up before you and then you can get a better QB. RB's are a huge ? this year. I can't believe that in all the stuff I've read and people I've talked to that Chris Johnson is getting overlooked so much. I'd put him in the top five RB's. He had 1,488 combined yards last year with a 4.9 yard avg. and he only carried the ball 251 times. I think he'll do just as well if not better this year. I'm sure the TT have a whole lot of new plays to get this kid the ball more. I'd go Michael Turner (less injury risk than AP), AP,CJ, Clinton Portis and MJD. For the WR's I'd go Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings. My sleeper picks are; Fred Jackson if you can get him late he's good for the first three games. Darren McFadden because the Faders are going to take the chains off and ride him hard, IMO. Steve Slaton, Matt Forte, Brandon Jacobs, and Felix Jones too. The guys I think are falling a lot are; LT, DeAngelo Williams, Willie Parker and Marion Barber. JMO Also, I believe that the fifth pick in the draft is the best one in a snaking draft of 10 teams. If you get the first pick trade it for the 5th pick throughout the draft and the fifth players 2nd rounder. If you can get him to take that trade you'll make out like a bandit. JMO

He deserves at least 7 years without parole, IMO, but if he gets more than three I'll be very surprised.

Pot head nailed in Cat Killing case
Steely Dan replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I believe the law in Florida for killing animals is 5 years. He's charged with 18 counts as well as burglary charges. If he is convicted of all 18 and given the max sentence in consecutive terms he will be in for 90 years. I highly doubt he'll get anything close to that. I'm guessing 20 years and paroled approx. 10 years in. I hope psychological care can cure him of the uncontrollable urge to kill. -
For the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ he probably just got I'd change my name to Pinocchio!

Das cool. You have a, sort of, rarity because Olds aren't made anymore. That would've been a very cool car, even today. The nice sized trunk reminds me of an ex-girlfriend. You suck! I would have loved that! This (the American version) was my first car! Same color too (bloody diarrhea) This is true, my mother gave it to me because she felt it was unsafe for my sister to drive. She knew I could work on it and if it broke down I was in less danger than my sis and that's why but it's a good story to tell people. the real song. I guess indestructible means something different to me. It was destructible just not willing to die. A friend of mine in high school drove an Olds Delta 88 and some type of Ford stationwagon that belonged to his parents. Those cars were huge but could blow almost anything off the line. Back in the day all Detroit monstrosities had balls to the wall power! BTW, do you have that dudes information? There's a lot of stuff I'd like to sell to him. Did it have the progressive taillights? Those were boss! She is so lucky that didn't happen on the freeway! It's a wonder any of us survived our teen years. My favorite car was a 1977 blue VW Rabbit. It had a sunroof and I've always wanted to have a sunroof since. It was a German made Rabbit and they were much better made than the American made Rabbits that came soon after. It was also back in the day when all you needed was a Chilton's manual, a friend and some basic tools to fix almost anything on that car. Today so much is controlled by computers and the engine compartments have little room to work around that doing home repairs on the car is very difficult.

As an economic ideal I agree that awards should be limited. However, it's not slimy lawyers awarding the money it's juries made up of other Americans. I believe that limiting awards is limiting rights. If it was up to me I'd limit medical awards but not product liability awards. Unfortunately it's been proven that companies have used calculators to figure out the cost of fixing something over the cost of damages that could be awarded in courts. Some will say that this happened years ago and hasn't happened recently. It's my opinion that high legal penalties are the reason why it happens infrequently now. JMO I agree with illegal aliens being shut out of medical care unless someone, like an employer, agrees to cover their bills. BTW, here's another old lawyer joke; Why don't sharks attack lawyers? Professional courtesy. BA DUM BUM!!! Ptsch!

For a guy I really like, mostly, as a human being it's sad to see this happen. I'm guessing his pouting and dismal display of playing when given the chance are the reasons for the disinterest by NFL teams. I hope he does find an outlet that will help him return to the NFL one day and be a backup or steady starter.

Joel Bell and Bills FO record with UDFA
Steely Dan replied to zazie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has anyone even picked him up yet? I don't think so. What he said. I think believing a player will make it and wanting a player to make it can be different things. I really wanted Joel Bell to succeed because he had great size for a LT prospect. I also wanted Nance to succeed due to his size as well. Sometimes you can have both. Most of the time I want a player to succeed. I'll take the opinions of people who have seen him play a little more seriously and think he will succeed.
