I don't hate the Jests with the same passion I have for NE* and Miami. I'd actually like to see them win the SB. I gotta root for Cinderella. Before or after his teammates take turns holding and hitting him? The fourth and one call was right, IMO. They had no problem running against SD so getting that yard was probable, IMO.
-
Kaeding is hoping they wont have to. Stupid call on the onside kick. There is more than enough time to get the ball back. Now the Jests have great field position and can make SD have to score a TD in order to win if the Jests just get a field goal and the Jests can probably put the final nail in the coffin with a TD.

This is really sad. 26 is waaaay to young to die. Steroid use can cause an enlarged heart. His family must be shocked. I wonder if he was using steroids in college. It would explain his sudden drop in play once he got to the NFL. This could be another reason for kids to avoid steroids if this was caused by lingering effects of steroid use. However, it is pro wrestling where the problem appears to be the most pervasive and deadly. In five of the 25 deaths, medical examiners concluded that steroids might have played a role. Excessive steroid use can lead to an enlarged heart. In 12 others, examiners in medical reports cited evidence of use of painkillers, cocaine and other drugs.

Fickle fans will always exist, some of them just want to complain for the sake of complaining. I try to stay positive until the very end, but some fans try to stay positive only after the Bills win the SB. Then they'll go back to negative when the team loses it's first game of the next year. It seems some fans only watch football because it gives them something to criticize.

This is or isn't real. If it is real it's creepy as hades. It's a picture of a room from the Hagley Museum in Delaware. The Hagley Museum is for the E.I. DuPont mills along the Bradywine river that made black powder. This room is in one of the groundskeepers houses. If you unfocus your eyes and stare at the heating register by the dogs bed you'll begin to see the legs of a Civil War soldier. Move up slowly with your eyes and when you get to the window you'll be able to see his face in the window light. If it's fake it's really well done. I'm nearsighted and need a new prescription so I had to take off my glasses and get close to the screen. There IS something there. The question is photo shopped or not? Oooooohhhhwwwwwooooo!!! Oooooohhhhhhwwwwwoooooo!! Real or Fake?

I'm not an audiophile. I don't even have an equalizer hooked up to my stereo but I do remember the days of the first CD players. One of my friends in high school was a brilliant kid. He graduated in the top five of our 500+ student class. His father was pretty well off and he bought one of the very first CD players ever made. My friend had gotten a Talking Heads CD and we were listening to it together. He was playing with the feature that allows you to pick the order of the songs. He looked at the CD and says; "I wish they had like David Byrne's suggested order to play them in." I pointed out that Byrne's preference would be the order of the songs on the CD. IIRC, a lot of artists wouldn't record on the new digital format until they expanded the number of sound codes. I think Neil Young was one of them. As long as we're walking down technological memory lane I have a couple more memories. I remember my aunt was a huge Tom Jones fan and had an eight track tape player. You'd listen to it and Jones would be singing a song and the sound would go down real low in the middle of a song and then there'd be a CHA-CHUNK and the sound would rise back up and continue from where the song had left off before the track change. I also remember my father buying one of the first hand held calculators for $200. It could only add, subtract, multiply and divide, I think. I also remember getting cable for the first time and the remote control was a big box about the size of a football stadium that was connected to the cable box via a thick wire. If you wanted to change channels you would have to press a button for that channel. Hey, since it was wired at least you never lost the remote. I also hate to admit that I'm this old but I remember playing "Pong" with my brother and thinking it was the cat's meow. I also remember the days of having to get out of your chair to change the channel (three major networks and some UHF channels, if you were lucky) and the dial would click fairly loudly along each step to the next channel and it could take about twelve clicks to go from one channel to the next. If I turned the dial any faster than one click at a time my father would suddenly appear and grouse; "Slow down!! You're gonna break the dial!!" It was uncanny the distances he could hear me changing the channel from. It must have been a psychic thing or just severe cheapness. The TV we had back then was a color TV with a 13 inch screen. I also remember the pre-microwave days. Now people get pissed off about having to wait three minutes for their chow. (In my best crotchety old man) "Kids today don't know how well they have it!!" -

You'd be surprised by the different types of music that's sung on the show. People have done Black Sabbath. If you can sing they'll send you through. They aren't looking for top 40 type people only. You have to watch the auditions. They are funnier than hell. You'll see stuff like this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsCAnyVYX9c The sound on this is very low so you'll have to turn it up. You can't just sing what you like. You have to sing something that works for your voice. With my voice I'd have to go with a Bob Dylan or Tom Petty song. -
