  1. From bag boy to probable HOFer the guy is just a great story. I'm surprised nobody in Hollywood has thought about making a movie about him. Maybe after his playing days are over they will. He's a little over-religious but hey I might think divine intervention if my life was like his. He's fun to watch play. It's like rooting for the underdog.
  2. What's not to like!! My sister and brother in law are huge Ravens fans. I get to think about poor little hoodie crying himself to sleep. Mr. Bundchen having to be held by his wife until he stops crying!! What a great offseason it will be.
  3. How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it.
  4. What do you do if your nose goes on strike? Pickit.
  5. Moderator: Our debate is with Mike the Republican and Whonoze the Democrat. Mike you won the toss so you start first. Mike: I want everyone to know that my petitions are for everyone. I stand by my petitions. I got more positions signed than any other candidate in this election. Just don't expect me to work Saturday nights. I'm usually blotto then. Moderator: Ummmm, ok. Mr. Whonoze do you want to respond. Mr. Whonoze's jaw has dropped. Mr. Whonoze: Not really, no. I think that statement says everything the voters need to know about Mike.
  6. Gangsta Kitty is always embarrassed by me. If he could buy stuff on his own he'd shoot me and leave, but I love him. Whatever weenie boy. http://www.popvssoda.com/ CONCLUSION People who say "Pop" are much, much cooler.
  7. Did you take out any petitions?
  8. I'm just pointing out that the words used to describe him are the same. Do you think GW was a success here? What he said.
  9. There have been a lot of interesting threads on this board. Unfortunately it seems you couldn't read them.
  10. I know a lot of people who say soda pop. They're all under 10 years old.
  11. The question is; How do you refer to soft drinks? Do you call them pop or soda.
  12. I grew up between Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE. This proves people have referred to pop as Coke. http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/2008/08/1...op-vs-soda-map/ # coke: this generic term for soft drinks predominates throughout the South, New Mexico, central Indiana and in a few other single counties in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. ‘Coke’ obviously derives from Coca-Cola, the brand-name of the soft drink originally manufactured in Atlanta (which explains its use as a generic term for all soft drinks in the South).
  13. Here's the scientific data; http://www.popvssoda.com/
  14. When I was growing up outside of Philly everything was a Coke. When you'd order a drink you'd say "I want a Coke" The person behind the counter would ask what kind. When I moved to Rochester I found out a Coke was a Coke up here. The first time someone asked me if I wanted a pop I thought they meant a punch. ETA: My brother doesn't remember that but he's an idiot.
  15. They will still use their challenges sparingly because they don't want to lose those TO's. I'm saying that if they can win 5 challenges then they should be able to keep going. I say this because while watching the Bengals game they made mention of a dubious call but the team was out of challenges.
  16. What bothers me about Frazier is that they're saying he blew Buddy Nix away in his interview. IIRC, Gregg Williams blew TD away in his interview too.
  17. IMO, it should be two losing challenges. If the game is officiated poorly a coach can only use two challenges per half while three more bad calls may go against his team. I say let them challenge until they lose two. I know it would increase the length of a game but it seems only fair.
  18. I know, I've read your posts.
  19. The "slow" HC search, IMO, is due to the Bills waiting for Minnesota to get out of the playoffs.
  20. I doubt you keep there due to any sense of fear.
  21. We've had those here too. Evidently something about Hemlock lake makes them go weird.
  22. If I heard that Buffalo had signed him I would be disappointed. 10-1 odds he never gets past the first round of the playoffs.
  23. I have a friend who's been lactose intolerant his whole life and he's 45. I agree with you on things you've never heard of popping up, like restless leg syndrome and such We're a society of wusses. Everything may contain fecal matter but not at this level. Evidently it's not enough to cause an outbreak, but it's still gross to think about.
  24. EWWWWW!! (CNN) -- It fizzes. It quenches. And it could also contain fecal bacteria. Nearly half of the 90 beverages from soda fountain machines in one area in Virginia tested positive for coliform bacteria -- which could indicate possible fecal contamination, according to a study published in the January issue of International Journal of Food Microbiology. Researchers also detected antibiotic-resistant microbes and E.coli in the soda samples. Well this makes ya think twice about ordering a soda at a FF restaurant. Maybe it's like getting immunized?
