  2. What's wrong with bitching about someone who hasn't even made a move as a Bills HC yet? The thing I like about Gailey is that he likes to use deception on plays. If I heard right. I think subterfuge is a huge help for plays to succeed.
  3. According to Mrs. Gailey his staff is just fine.
  4. All coaches say the same thing. I can't think of anything else to say.
  5. WHTK is carrying the presser live.
  6. YNN (formerly RNews) in Rochester is doing a piece on him right now and they are carrying the presser live.
  7. I don't know if WHTK is going to carry it or not. but there's a good chance they might. Go to 1280 WHTK and listen online. Rome is on right now but they may break in for it.
  8. That Rfeynman guy sounds very intelligent. I hope some of his questions are asked.
  9. # brig725 brig725 (1/19/2010 at 1:20 PM) Report Violation Tim, your the best! Can you do the Bills fans a huge favor? Can you get everyone attending the press conferene to BOO Chan Galey when being intoduced? PLease!!!! Please ask ralphie if it bothers him when he breaks the heart of every Bills fan every single year? rmille (1/19/2010 at 1:19 PM) Report Violation Do they think its 1997? Chan Gailey and Buddy Nix. They might have been exciting hires 13 years ago but not today. Today I am just glad I am not a Bills fan. # davethawave25 davethawave25 (1/19/2010 at 1:18 PM) Report Violation it almosts feels like anoter sunday night with that sick gut renching bills loss feeling! # sg1838 sg1838 (1/19/2010 at 1:17 PM) Report Violation Why put so much stock in having head coaching experience, and hire a cast-off retread? If you couldn't lure any of the big guns to Buffalo, why not take a chance on a hot young coach? At this point, the Bills would have been better off hiring Turner Gill. And why is having winning regular seasons with less than stellar quarterbacks like Fiedler and Tomczak considered a success? If my memory serves me correctly, those guys were part of the problem. It would seem like stubbornness to me to keep them around and live with their mediocrity rather than make a change and potentially try to find the franchise QB of the future. So, since Trent Edwards is mediocre, is that what we have to look forward to in the coming years? davethawave25 (1/19/2010 at 1:16 PM) Report Violation were in major need off rebuilding again! and we just brought in another 3rd world coach! great! # itsyaboyv itsyaboyv (1/19/2010 at 1:15 PM) Report Violation I just want confirmation of this thought process, so let me get this straight, we were 1 of 3 teams(the bills) to fire their offensive coordinator,so now that we're coach less we thought it would be a good idea to hire one of the other two that got fired(from the Chiefs!!!!). Brilllllliant!!!!!! # trunxc44 trunxc44 (1/19/2010 at 1:15 PM) Report Violation Chan, How does your hire satisfy the fan bases desire to have a successful team when your career can be characterized as mediocre at best. # robsun700 robsun700 (1/19/2010 at 1:12 PM) Report Violation I'd ask WHY.......... 1.Frazier would of been the better hire 2.How long will the Trent Edwards experiment last 3.How LONG till McKelvin DEMANDS to be traded Terrible franchise that NOBODY wants to play for. davethawave25 (1/19/2010 at 1:11 PM) Report Violation Why didn't the superbowl contending available coaches want to date the buffalo bills? NYJMitch (1/19/2010 at 1:10 PM) Report Violation Are you secretly a closet Jets, Dolphins and Pats fan Ralph? Thank you again!!! Seriously though, as a fan of the Jets who has frequently not understood why a team does what they do, I can not understand the way the Bills run their organization. I just makes me think secretly that they expect the franchise to be moved. With such great questions I'm sure he'll do this again soon.
  10. A bunch of A-Holes have turned it into a B word about the Bills thread. Tim was nice enough to ask for input and people are being completely stupid. They need to come here to discuss the hire. JMO
  11. I just started listening. Has he done a Chan Gailey take yet?
  12. I listen to WHTK and WHAM mostly through my computer. I've noticed that instead of commercials they play music mostly between show breaks. I think I've heard a commercial once in awhile but I wonder why their advertising packages don't include internet streams?
  13. What? You mean there's another thread almost exactly like this one? http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...=106198&hl=
  14. I will bet anyone on this board a billion gajillion dollars this doesn't happen. Do I have a billion gajillion dollars in order to payoff if I lose. Silly question to ask, it's unnecessary.
  15. Since this thread is three pages long within an hour I haven't read the whole thing so forgive me if these points have already been made. So if the Chiefs didn’t think they could sell Gailey, what makes the Bills think they can? Stupid statement IMO. All that matters is if the guy is a winner or not. Winning sells not names. One of Lombardi's criticisms of Gailey is that he won't be a splashy enough hire. If the guy turns out to be a winner who cares? He also criticizes Buffalo for staying in house with their GM choice. Having a group of people you know can work together is better than importing people who may have ego issues. I don't believe the front office was the problem during Jauron's coaching stint. I think the problems were 90% coaching. With the current talent on the Bills I wouldn't be surprised to find the Bills in the playoffs this year. Assuming Gailey makes decent choices for assistant coaches.
  16. BTW, Many, many years ago I saw Mike and the Mechanics at FLPAC. I had bought one of Rutherford's solo albums and liked it. During the concert he said that the next song was off the solo album I had bought which made me "Woot". Mike turned my way and said; "Oh, you're the one who bought it."
  17. What do you think the LLDOB is about? I think it's about death and redemption. Rael is condemned to purgatory for his misdeeds as a human. Through his adventures in purgatory he is given the chance to redeem himself by making the decision to help his brother John or go back to earth. BTW, Genesis was thisclose at one time to making the LLDOB into a movie. The project fell apart though. I'm not sure why but that would've been uber cool.
  18. I read the book about 25 years ago. (God I feel old ) so my memory may not be fully clear on that but I'm 90% sure that's what I read. The two theories really aren't all that different. Both theories have them pissed at Gabriel but, I am certain that Gabriel left on his own accord and not because the band kicked him out. I'm also pretty certain that Gabriel was responsible for over 80% of the input on LLDOB. I wonder how Collins felt knowing the band was playing their assess off behind him while he fronted the band? Gabriel was a much better front man and song writer and he deserved the credit he got. Roger Daltry gets a lot of credit he doesn't deserve, IMO, if you go by that standard.
  19. Wow, I'm stunned and hurt by your comments. I guess I'll have to read more of your posts to find out what logic and intelligence is, in the lollipop guild.
  20. Fiest counting to 4 on Sesame Street.
  21. Well how eloquent. That really says it all doesn't it? Maybe this will explain the differences in the numbers to you. Jackass!! One Two Three Four Tell me that you love me more Sleepless long nights That is what my youth was for Old teenage hopes are alive at your door Left you with nothing but they want some more Oh, you're changing your heart Oh, You know who you are Sweetheart bitterheart now I can tell you apart Cosy and cold, put the horse before the cart Those teenage hopes who have tears in their eyes Too scared to own up to one little lie Oh, you're changing your heart Oh, you know who you are One, two, three, four, five, six, nine, or ten Money can't buy you back the love that you had then One, two, three, four, five, six, nine, or ten Money can't buy you back the love that you had then Oh, you're changing your heart Oh, you know who you are Oh, you're changing your heart Oh, you know who you are Oh, who you are For the teenage boys They're breaking your heart For the teenage boys They're breaking your heart
  22. I voted for 3 but I'm not totally unhappy about the signing. I would've preferred a younger HC but Gailey isn't a bad hire. JMO
  23. That's an interesting thought but I'm wondering if after coming off his injury they'd put him at center this year. It may be next year. JMO
  24. Intelligence and logic have no place on this board.
