    I grew up off of Potter Rd. also ... In the area by the big tower on Dorance. I remember walking over to the Seneca Mall to hang out at the places mentioned here ... Cavages, Spencers, Ground Round .... Those were the days.

    I'm assuming you are talking about rooster Robin. The radio would say to come on out and "Rock with the rooster". They would always attract plenty of Chicks.

    Yes muddy, I remember them well. They were regulars at the Barrel Head in West Seneca. As long as we are talking about local bands ... TALAS was my favorite.

    The last time we were on MNF was in December 2000 vs. the Colts. That was the night when Wade declared we didn't have a shot at the playoffs ... while we still had a chance. We lost that night and were eliminated from contention. The NFL Schedule usually comes out in Mid-April ... before the Draft.

    I didn't see any of the shows on the Tom Joad tour ... were they really that bad?

    I hear ya ... I was kind of hoping he would start the tour here in NJ with the acoustic show and then come back later with the E Streeters ... best of both worlds I guess.

    The rumor that I'm hearing about the tour is, that it will start out as more of an acoustic show ... Bruce and a few other musicians ... and then the E Street Band will join the tour later ... I'm not sure if this is true, it's just the Buzz I'm hearing around here in NJ.

    That's what I was trying to say ... They drafted Gant in 1974 as a replacement for Seymour ... but it didn't work out because Gant couldn't block and dropped everything that came his way.

    They did move him to TE because of his blocking ability, and he remained there because they later found out that TE Ruben Gant could not block.

    One other FYI ... Bruce Jarvis was the starting Center until he got injured ... Montler then took over.
