If I remember correctly, the last time Christmas fell on a Sunday, The NFL Scheduled a full slate of games on Saturday the 24th. Also, there was a late game or 2 scheduled on Christmas Day.

That statement says it all right there. I coached youth Football and Baseball for years, and never really had any problems with the parents. One year my kids wanted to try soccer, because some of their friends were playing it. Thank God they hated it and went back to Football. I've got to say, soccer parents are the worst complainers on earth. Most of them don't know squat about sports either. Of course, I shouldn't have been surprised by this, because soccer isn't really a sport anyway. Just ask George Carlin.

Here is some more information that points to the schedule being released on Wednesday... From todays NJ Star-Ledger: "The Giants play the Chargers in San Diego this year and will find out when the matchup will take place when the NFL schedules are released on Wednesday. The game could be slated for Monday Night Football." LINK - scroll down near the bottom of the article.

The 2:00pm timeslot is now listing 'Game of the Week'. The 10:00pm timeslot still says 'NFL Total Access' ... repeat from 2:00pm. I think they're dicking with us now.
