  1. Not really... about $10 million.
  2. Someone makes this same thread every few days.
  3. The Bills D was 9th in the NFL on 3rd down % at 36.1. The offense was 17th at 39.9%. Even with a bad pass rush, we were still pretty good on 3rd down.
  4. both have been very productive in college... so we'll see.
  5. The networks have to pay the NFL even if there is a lockout. The money those networks pay will then be deducted from the following years of the contract. The league can count on at least $1 billion in revenue from DirecTV.
  6. Except Keiaho is a much better player than Ellison.
  7. because he played LDE in college.
  8. My God... if i had a daughter and they did this to her... i probably couldn't restrain myself from killing the administrator who was responsible.
  9. Tim, do you foresee many trades developing from the owners meetings? Also, what players do you think are most likely to be dealt? thanks
  10. Points per game: 2008: 21 ppg- 23rd 2007: 15.8 ppg- 30th 2006: 18.8 ppg - 23rd 2005: 16.9 ppg - 24th We are scoring more points, so at least we are improving. Total yards is a worthless stat. Turk improved our offense quite a bit.
  11. was just saying that he could stand to learn a lot from him. He isn't a QB that will try to force the ball into tiny spaces.
  12. Terrible changes.
  13. Yes, in the case of incest and rape the requirement for parental notification can be waved. It's right in the first link... PP opposed that law.
  14. Huh? Read planned parenthood's website. They explicitly state that abortion should not be made harder for teens, and that parental notification only serves to make teens seek out shady doctors. PP has a long history of challenging parental notification... they have done it here and have done it in other states like Alaska.
  15. Whitner has played at an above average level, and is a top 10 safety. He is only 23, while the top 3-4 safeties in the NFL are 28+. I didn't expect Whitner to come in and be an all-pro right away, just like Amobi Okoye.. he needs time to develop.
  16. IMO, the best way to do it would be to make special nights where it is taught. That way parents have the option to bring their kids or not.

  18. Planned Parenthood is against parental consent laws.
  19. Brees has a comparable arm to Edwards.
  20. Statistics for DB's? The only good ones are for CB's. They are almost meaningless for safeties. The fact is that Whitner plays on a high level, and many people around the league agree.
  21. Grade: 77 | Key Alert: None Comment: Whitner is coming off his second season and has been one of the better young defenders in the league. He has good size, strength and athleticism. He is a hard-nosed safety who is better versus the run than defending the pass. He is often inverted and in the box in the Bills' defensive scheme. He shows great instincts, a good feel for angles and the ability to leverage the ball. He uses his hands well and can work through trash to stay alive to the pile. Whitner is a strong tackler who maintains good body position in the open field. He has good range off the hash, filling the alley or making plays across the field. He is best to jam receivers off the line of scrimmage in combination-zone coverages, but isn't as effective in pure man schemes. He has good foot agility, balance and quickness in space. Plus, he can redirect and close well to the ball. He isn't an outstanding coverage defender, but often he is used in the box and not in a ball hawking mode. Whitner has been very effective in the Bills' defensive philosophy and as a special team's contributor. 77 is borderline on being an "Outstanding" player according to Scouts Inc. Whitner is thought of very highly by many around the NFL. He is only 23, and most players peak around 28. There is no reason that he cannot be a top 5 safety in the NFL. PS: Whitner is the 7th highest rated Safety in the NFL (per scouts inc)
  22. Seriously? You didn't even check the first page? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=85724
  23. Donte is no where close to being a bust. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Whitner could very easily take the next step this season.
  24. KC would be tripping over themselves to pick up a 23 year old safety who is very close to being elite. He is totally worth a declining guard.
