  1. well, aren't you the coolest person ever.
  2. yeah, because mccfadden and russel were taken in the top 5 of the draft because they didn't have talent
  3. Well, there are many factors that decide how to pick them. If you always pick the best available player, that won't work either. What if the best available player was a running back? Do we need to pay two RBs that big of money? especially when we have jackson as well? What if we drafted a Rb in the first round, then when we drafted in 2nd round the best available player is an RB? and the same happens happens in round three where the best available is an RB? You get three RBs that you don't need. When people say "draft the best available" there is always wiggle room. And yes, you do draft need sometimes. If you don't, you will fail. What if you team has no QB, but every time you pick the best player available is never a QB? you are going to have to compermise to get a QB, because you need a QB. If you need a position, you better draft it at some point. You can pick all the "best available" you want, but if you are missing a position, your team can't play.
  4. i didn't realize that Greer's contract is up, or might be up. Mckelvin would def be needed if we let Greer walk. Especially if tom brady is back to form next season. When i thought about it, i thought that the bills would not have taken Greer had they knew youboty would be a solid player. but i also couln't really think of who else to pick, that was worth the 11th pick. People are saying Rivers, and that would be the best one that i could think of, but he wasnt available and he wasn't worth trading up for. I would have thought trading down would have been better, but it looked like a draft that would be hard to do that. It was just something that i was pondering, since we haven't really seen much of McKelvin and Youboty it taking care of things nicely.
  5. Would we have picked someone other than Mckelvin if we knew Youboty would step up so dramatically and went from zero to hero? Because when the 08 draft happened, we all thought that Youboty was done for and we would never see him in a bills uniform come september. But now here he is as one of the biggest surprise players. And we have more DBs than any other position we have. I think the chances of us trading down would have been bigger, maybe going after a better TE or maybe taking hardy with another high ranking WR. Because right now there doesnt seem to be even any space for him as a starter even if he was ready. which he might be. thoughts?
  6. i think it happened a lot sooner than we thought it would. Edward's developement is a great surprise w
  7. there is even a bigger difference between 18-1 and 19. ask the patriots
  8. no other reciever on our team could have made that one. they are too short
  9. if we were on drugs, yeah, that might of happened
  10. a couple hours ago you said our season was ruined by this game thanks to peters and poz.... now you are saying this game is going to get us in the playoffs..... i don't think your words are worth marking until you learn to think and analyze before you speak/post
  11. darn it....... should have went to a bar
  12. they were disowned in the War of 2020
  13. Is there a site that shows all the currenttly signed players?
  14. if trent hasn't gotten used to the cold yet, then this will help buffalo more i think. I liked everything i saw in trent last season, except he flopped in cold weather games. Everything else for him seems to be pretty good for a rookie thus far
  15. everyone is do busy complaining about wasting a 7th pick to care about a high 2nd
  16. i think anderson might be pretty worthless. but here's to hardy!
  17. no, once a team makes a pick the clock starts for the other team. if a team takes just 2 mins to pick, they don't wait out the other 8 mins. they go right to the other team. first round most teams take there time, most. but if miami and st louis already know who they are taking, then they are not going to wait... miami already has theirs signed. they aren't going to sit there for 10 full minutes...and who the rams take with their pick will effect how our team picks. so yes, we do care.
  18. that is what the mock said, that they would trade for harvey
  19. i think the past two years we have been on the right track
  20. i would like albert as well
  21. wow, what a lopsided thread. so, from what i learned from here is..... it is a bad idea to have a backup QB and edwards will never get hurt? it is obvious that if you keep losman on the sidelines he won't be a problem. this aint exactly TO we are dealing with...
