“We don’t need to cancel practice, but we’ve got a lot of work to do in the throwing game,” he said. “We’re rusty and we’ve got to continue to work route running as well as throwing the football. But I can tell we haven’t thrown the football. We’ve thrown it individually, but not with bodies flying around and that’s a lot different.”

Actually, he'd probably retire.

Sounds more like the entire passing game, not just the QBs -- he mentioned route running and such.

I guess I was more worried that the screw itself would break off since I had to unscrew it so much. Hopefully it'll be ok....

Unfortunately not. I checked the wall where we want to hang the clock, and the only stud on the wall puts it too close to the corner - and the clock wouldn't be able to sit properly. We looked to put it somewhere else so that we could hang it on a stud, but it just fits perfectly on this one wall, so.....

Hey all -- I have a question about hanging things on the wall. Yeah, you'd think I would have learned this already, but everything we've put up has been relatively light weight. This time I purchased a ~10 pound clock and I want to make sure it stays up. So I did some research and I thought I was supposed to buy something like this: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xit...catalogId=10053 I measured where I wanted the clock, hammered this into the drywall, screwed it in to expand the bolt behind the drywall. I was planning on unscrewing it a little bit and hanging the clock on the bolt -- but then I realized that the clock has two bumps on the back, and the hole to hang it on the wall is behind those bumps -- meaning in order to hang it, I needed to unscrew the screw from the wall roughly 1/4". Is that what I'm supposed to do? Or was there something else I should have purchased instead to hang it? I just want to make sure it doesn't fall down and break.... Here's the clock:

Contrite Facebook CEO promises new privacy controls

You know what's great? I was watching Criminal Minds last night and they were investigating the role of social networks in the murders. At one point, one of the investigators totally bashed Facebook, saying that their recent privacy settings left things open for everyone to see. I thought it was cool, since most people probably don't think about it - but when they see it on a popular TV series, they might think twice. Maybe.... -
I think Bret had to win because the Snapple execs said that he exactly captured what they were looking for (even though it seemed like Trump liked Holly's work better).

Religion will be modified greatly. Here's the definitive site for all things Civ: http://www.civfanatics.com/ And specific to Civ V: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=355156 "Religion has been altered from its role in Civ 4 however, it is not know in what form it will remain in the game" I still remember sitting my dorm room playing the original Civ. "Just one more turn," I said to myself. "Just one more turn...." "Just one more turn..." Before I knew it, my roommate was awake and asking if I had been up all night. "Yes..." -

Did you actually read the AZ law....? Nobody's "asking for your papers." If you're stopped for probable cause, they run your ID to make sure you're a citizen. It's no different than what most states do now. When you're pulled over for speeding or for having a broken tail light, aren't you required to give the officer your driver's license? My wife was driving a few years ago and was pulled over because one of her headlights was out. The officer asked both of us for identification. No different, is it? I have no problem with the AZ law (enforcing federal law), and most people in AZ don't either. But even if I did, why should other cities/states get to vote on what AZ does? You don't like it, don't move there. I didn't like how WNY was handling their politics, so I moved out. No different. Regardless of how you feel about the AZ issue, you have to admit that the letter the utility commision sent to LA was fantastic http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/051810_arizonapdf.pdf -
I watched one or two episodes of "Two and a half Men" and just didn't find it funny at all. I've seen a couple of episodes of Modern Family and that looks really funny - should probably try recording that a big more.

My parents love this guy, as does another friend of mine. I've seen a couple of his DVDs, and I just personally don't find the guy funny....

Did you just compare pork products to drugs....?

No, he just did it on a dare.

You should go back and read my post on the subject: " It's REALLY tasty -- but you can only eat a couple of bites before the salt completely drains the liquid from your mouth. "

Agreed. From the first article: "In 2001, a Connecticut car rental company began charging renters a $150 fine for speeding in their rental cars, using a GPS-equipped monitoring system." I'd like to see how you can enforce that. I have a nice Garmin GPS that can keep track of individual trip information for me... But I've noticed that, especially on long trips, if I look to see what my max speed was on the trip, it invariably says something like, "150mph." The data just isn't 100% accurate. -
Comedies: Rules of Engagement How I Met Your Mother Big Bang Theory Dramas: The Good Wife (surprisingly good) Parenthood (very surprisingly good) Mentalist Castle We record a bunch of other stuff - CSI, Heros, Cold case, etc, etc - but don't always watch them. We have multiple seasons saved of some of the shows...

In addition, what happens if you're sober, you start the car, you're driving along, and 30 minutes later you blow again but there's a failure in the system. Does your car stop in the middle of the road...? -

I was trying to figure out how that worked. Isn't it more dangerous to force the driver to pay attention to blowing in a device rather than driving...? Minnesota and Wisconsin don't have car inspections. Pay your yearly registration fee and you're done. I'm not sure how many states still do the inspection thing. -
If criminals knew there were no cops in your area, you'd probably be singing a different tune...

I'm against being forced to use airbags and ABS brakes if I don't want to. And it's perfectly legal (as far as I know) to disable both of them. I don't need the government controlling even more of my life (and this comes from someone who never drinks). I understand the thought behind installing it on cars of people who have been convicted of DUI, and I'm on the fence on that one. But to mandate it for anyone who drives a car? That seems very draconian and "big brother-ish." That's not even addressing the fact that it costs $600-$1200/year to have the device installed! And what happens when the device fails and you can no longer start your car? If my ABS stops working, I can still drive the car... Government is getting too big as it is -- we don't need them controlling the driving of innocent citizens, IMHO. -

For everyone? Or just people who have been convicted?
