  1. I find it hard to believe that he would be fired for a single offense like that. My guess is that he's been written up several times in the past and this was his last straw. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Was he well-liked? He's only been there a few months, so I guess most people won't care. CW

  3. Have you achieved your lifelong goal of riding the zamboni? I love that album
  4. Yeah, but I bet it's the new Goo Goo Dolls and not the GOOD Goo Goo Dolls.
  5. "Five people Tara would like to have dinner with: .... [snip] Tom Brady."
  6. That's like saying we had no proof that Osama was responsible for 9/11 before he "admitted" to it in '04. Whatever, you like double standards and that's fine. I'm done with the topic. Flame away.
  7. The OP was making fun of Kim. You said, and I quote: "Anyone who can find humor or parody in a tradgedy like WWII/The Holocaust, or terrorist attacks, or school shootings, etc is dispicable and needs to learn some decency." Dude's making fun of a terrorist and we clearly can't find humor in that: "South Korea accused Kim of ordering the 1983 bombing in Rangoon, Burma (now Yangon, Myanmar), which killed 17 visiting South Korean officials, including four cabinet members, and another in 1987 which killed all 115 on board Korean Air Flight 858. No direct evidence has emerged to link Kim to the bombings. A North Korean agent, Kim Hyon Hui, confessed to planting a bomb in the case of the second, saying the operation was ordered by Kim Jong-il personally." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Jong-il
  8. WTF does that have to do with anything?
  9. Making fun of the North Korean dictator/tyrant is not a laughing matter. He kills people, and we should never make light of that fact. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=54421
  10. I hate that I can't listen to that (or hockey in general) online with an XM subscription.
  11. Christmas Eve and Other Stories. It's the main part of the show (and a very touching story). http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Other-Stor...ie=UTF8&s=music My favorite song is "Old City Bar." Enjoy the show - it's awesome! CW
  12. Well, let's see... Bledsoe got us to records of 8-8, 6-10, 9-7 with a crappy OL... And everyone said he sucked (and was the reason for half of our losses). Well, we're seeing the same sacks and the same fumbles. All we're missing is the occasional amazing pass. Even the TD yesterday was SEVERELY underthrown, and if the coverage wasn't completely blown, we wouldn't have scored there either. JP's started more than 16 games (I think 17, plus some mop-up time?) and he's in his third year in the NFL. We've all seen the same thing for the past 10+ years. Maybe it's not the QB?
  13. So much for your bets this week
  14. It's on before the pregame show - 11:30 EST I think.
  15. The Bills losing to the Pats? Dolphins?
  16. Your avatar is insulting to everyone with a real handicap. Also, anyone have a problem with someone wearing this mask: http://www.sillyjokes.co.uk/dress-up/masks...am-hussein.html
  17. That always happens in the NHL. You can't expect the team to be up for 80+ games in a row. They'll also probably have a losing streak at some point (now?) where they lose several games in a row. Not a big deal, they'll be fine. CW
  18. Did you expect 'em to go undefeated this season...?
  19. Not always. I won decent money betting on the Pats over the Vikes. That was a no-brainer last week. CW
  20. One of my suitemates in college was a really good artist and he made a Calvin for everyone in the suite. He modified it to sorta match the personality of the person, and put the person's name at the bottom. I still have it somewhere, probably stuck in one of my textbooks from that year. It was pretty cool.
  21. Again, why is a TV show like Hogan's Heros ok?
  22. They're not in Minnesota until after Xmas.
  23. Welcome back, long time no see!
  24. Right, because movies, TV, books, and music can't have any deeper meaning.
