Yep.... And if we didn't play scared and not to get blown out by Indy, we could have beaten them like Tennesee did and we seriously could be thinking playoffs.... After the Indy game I seriously was worried that we had no idea if we had a QB, would slowly lose the offense with players like Evans who must have loved coming to the huddle to hear we were running for 2 yards again and then have free agents turning their backs on Buffalo. 30th in passing and you guys are upset with my comments, which are a statement of fact.... Unbelievable....

Yesterday is a perfect example.... Chicago up 15 just like the Bills Sunday, but with 4 minutes not 9 left in the game and on third and 3, Grossman passed.... We on 3rd and 6 ran.... Our offensive coordinators have no interest in passing. Also of the 37 passes vs. SD... 16 were the last two drives (6 & 10) in the 4th quarter down by 3 & then 10.... So yes you are right, I guess I want the Bills down so that we pass a little bit.....

Has not thrown for 200 yards since Houston game. Don't shoot the messenger, I am happy JP has done well (and I am serious). I blame the coaching staff for the lack of offense. Lee Evans yesterday admitted too that he dropped the first ball, which was another 35-40 yards passing. Point was we were back to 15 passes. If we look at the Houston game it was only 125 yards passing until the last two passes. SD, there was little pass yards until the last drive as well. Sorry to state facts and my opinion that I want to see more passes. Also especially love how we support our need to have a balanced attack (23rd rushing, 30th passing). Or are we just so happy to be ahead of TB & Oakland????

I have agreed with everything and am happy we are winning. I however do not think it is unreasonable to see whether we have a Desoto or a Ferrari at QB.... If it is a Ferrari, we're driving 20 in the passing lane. For a desoto I guess we are doing quite well....

Different era.... btw where is the 2,000 yard runner??? Again happy with JP and his play.... But the amount of cooing and the chest thumping when we are 30th in passing & 23rd in rushing is pathetic..... Get it right.... while yesterday's game may not be the best example, our offense (and I blame the play calling) is terrible.... Again the most points we have put up all year on offense is 24 points. Sorry I want to see better..... And then again what does it say about our offense when we are so concerned with sacks & ints.... We play not to lose and I find that sad.

Sorry no fantasy teams and don't care. You're missing the point. I am happy we are winning and playing much better. However I still think we have JP on way too short a leash. Example 3rd and 6 from the 24 up 28-13 and we run the ball. We play scared that he will get sacked or throw an int. Amazs me how excited we are with 340 yards offence (barely avg). I can't believe you guys are so scared to put up 400 yards offense. 30th in Passing stinks and though I have defended JP and support him, those #'s are a reflection on Fairchild and the offensive game plan.....

Ok I can go through each call and question why passes weren't called.... Yesterday was not the best day for my comments, but they still stand. We are cheering and delirious with glee (some of us at least) with JP controlling the game as opposed to winning it. I don't blame JP, but again we have less the 200 yards passing and that to me is Mendoza line for QB's (or in this case offensive coordinators). That makes 9 of 13 games under 200 yards passing and 4-5 games with under 15 passes....

You can bet even though it was a catch and both feet were in bounds, the Ref would have claimed he did not have control. That is what they always do. Last night they pulled the same on NO vs. Dallas near the half. Definite catch overturned, but then they gave Parcells a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. Looked like the ref in Dallas did not want to give a completion & then add 15 yards so he simply came up with a compromise. Replay should be done and reviewed correctly from the booth, not a ref defending his officiating crew.

Yes I'm happy and the points are pretty much dead on.... Evans dropped a pass the first drive and the Peerless Price catch should have been reviewed (though you can bet they would have used the possession crap and not overturned it). Don't you love when a play is not overturned they love to use the possession card. Peerless got his feet in. However again we seem to love to get carried away with JP when he threw all of 15 times. Again only one other QB had under 20 passes (Gerrard for Jax, who rusch for over 350 yards). I want more passes to prove he is a QB.

Yes JP has been fine, however I want to be excited seeing the offense play and that means passing yards. The fact we have had 8 of 12 games under 200 is sad. That is what I am saying. I'll commit heresy by saying at this point in the season a 9-6 win will not excite me. May be impressed with the D, but I want offense.....

Again pick 3 random QB's..... I choose Brees, Romo & Peyton Manning... They had some good #'s the past 3 weeks. Heck let's throw in Carson Palmer, even Vince Young... Point is JP has thrown for over 200 yards vs Det & Minn (202 & 222), over 300 vs. Hou & NYJ and thew for under 120 yards 4 X Mia, Chic, GB & Indy and 4 X's between 160-200... Those are terrible #'s or show a lack of offensive imagination. Add to that the running game has been sub par and my comments I think are bang on.... Sorry I think fondly of the Kelly K-gun days or even Doug Flutie.... The offense has been putrid this year and while JP has certainly improved the play calling has been terrible imo.

After the Houston game we have thrown for 169 7 184 the next 2 games.... Not enough imo... you are right the running game is doing nothing.... Let's not talk about the offensive (double entendre) performances vs. GB & Indy.

And I want 400 yards passing & 6 TD's and the defense to hold an opposition under 180 yards rushing.... We can all dream... Actually we did run the ball well vs. NYJ the first time, but made mistakes and stupid calls....

Yep.... I'm bored too of watching this putrid offense grind continually to a halt and our defense allow 400 yards. Then we get the excuses and double talk. I just stated my opinion and frankly the result has been excrutiatingly bad football games on the whole. From now on feel free to ignore my posts since you know they are mostly concerning the offense and playcalling.....

And had never thrown a pass 'til last week if i am not mistaken....

I'm so tired of happily accepting 170 yards as a good game (last 2 weeks). Even yesterday both Rothlesberger & Anderson (a rookie) had 200+ in terrible cold weather. I want JP to succeed, because I do not want to start over, but this offense really is driving me crazy.....

And how many GB games have there been this year, when all knew they'd be terrible????

Sorry can't help. I'm just piecing together what others have said.

Good for him.... Obviously Sunday was not the easiest game. Many games do not have more then a single tough call. Sunday there were 4-5 and all were fairly significant calls and all went against the Bills. As for Ed, how many of those were his calls? He is a lawyer and as you can read he fessed up to one. He did not make those other calls did he???

Plenty of reasons, but there is one glaring reason more so then others..... The Ref should not be going over to a small screen and being forced to overturn a call by HIS crew... One Ref has not overturned a call this year and probably 90% of calls are also upheld if you were to check the records. These guys are not that good..... Like the NHL, they go upstairs, review with slow motion and closeups and make the right call.... And while I'm at it.... Also do not make up rules (like heal on Sunday). As for pass interference and claiming the ball was tipped, that is an outright lie. You make the interfernece call and then confer whether it was tipped. If then there is a coach's challenge, that too can be reviewed (tipped). Add to that having the defensive player carry you ob, that too should be reviewable as it is a very easy call.... The NFL refs are a complete joke...

Done an okay job, but has been lousy on the offensive side and the defense allows way too much yards and is terrible vs. the run. Actually it is a real head scratcher all things considered how we easily could be 2-10 or 8-4....

Don't forget all these teams except SD did it with balanced attcks, where they all threw for over 220 yards too.... That is what made it so bad. They could do basically whatever they wanted....

Yes Canadian.... Just come up big on 50% of the chances.... Hold SD to a FG and we are still in it. Let NE & Indy hold the ball 5 minutes and we get a minute to do something. Defense(happy now) has been getting off lightly..... Also PP gave up on the int & the refs were pathetic by all accounts yesterday.....

Agreed.... However there has been a great deal of people talking about the "wonderful defence" of late.
