  1. I hope you meant to say that the Bills are entertaining. The Sabres are painful to watch right now. I'm OK with a rebuild, but for f&@*'s sake, at least play hard every night. They look like they're just going through the motions right now.
  2. The Fabulous One was released by the Mavs in their final cutdown earlier this week. I do have a feeling that he'll have a non-descript NBA career, though. On another note, I'm really happy for Southerland and Onuaku, both of whom made NBA final rosters. I also bought seasons. Since I live in Buffalo, other than the IU game, I doubt that I'll be hitting many of the weekday games, so if anyone is interested, let me know. I will beat Section 122's prices by at least $1.00.
  3. Looking at their post-Brady QB selections - Rohan Davey, Kliff Kingsbury, Kevin O'Connell and Matt Cassell - I'm not sure whether the Pats* interest in Manuel is an endorsement or an indictment of Manuel.
  4. Judging solely by this year, I can name at least 6 QBs who definitively are playing better than Brady: Peyton Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Stafford, Romo and Rivers. You could also make the case that Dalton, Ryan, Luck and Newton are playing better than Brady this year. So, I think Tommy Boy is somewhere in the top 1/3rd of NFL QBs right now.
  5. Your facts and logic have no place here! Let the crusaders have their fun!
  6. Corner of Campbell & Dodge, right across the street from Lebros.
  7. No. I don't think much of Choice. IMO, he's a dime-a-dozen NFL RB.
  8. If Lewis doesn't turn the ball over next Sunday, I think we win.
  9. Robert Woods- I think he's going to be a good one, but he's been MIA of late. We need more out of him now. Goodwin- a couple of really nice grabs. Wasn't sure what to expect from him, but I've been pleasantly surprised by him so far. Lewis- the kid is tough, but he really needs to take care of the ball better. I think he's put the ball on the carpet 5x over the last 3 weeks. His pocket awareness isn't particularly good, IMO, which contributes to some of the shots he takes. FJ - great 1Q, but ineffective thereafter. By all accounts, he's a good guy and teammate, but, IMO, he's best used as a situational, change-of-pace back. Alonso - better than he was against CIN and MIA, but he still wasn't great today, especially relative to the way he played to start the season. Robey - I think he'll be a solid 3/4 CB in the NFL, but he had a rough one today. The Stills TD and the pass that went right through his hands were huge plays that majorly impacted the outcome. Why does it seem like opposing TEs either plow over or drag forward our Safeties, but Chandler gets tossed around by opposing safeties? Lawson's absence was huge. I hope to see Hughes drop back in coverage as infrequently as possible for the rest of the year. NE/MIA was like a TOR/BOS hockey game - I was desperately hoping for both teams to lose. I love this team's fight and toughness - I haven't seen those traits out of a Bills team in years. We're getting there...
  10. The bomb to Woods in the CAR game was well thrown by EJ
  11. Hmm. I missed that, but it's annoying to think that happened. Now that you've pointed it out, I'd like to see a replay.
  12. With SJ out, Lewis was forced to throw to guys like Chris Hogan. He looks to have difficulty getting off the line, and his hands are not what I would consider reliable. Not sure what his role is supposed to be, but I have a hard time believing that there aren't better street FAs available right now. Also, IMO, this D is vastly overrated. Too often, they make mediocre QBs look good (Smith, Weeden, Dalton), and scrub RBs (Powell, BJGE, arguably Vereen) look outstanding. The lack of pressure on Dalton today was maddening. He could have stood in the pocket and counted his !@#$ing freckles on a number of plays. They're far too inconsistent for my liking.
