  1. I'm not as big on this guy as some of you are apparently, but, he is an upgrade and I'm pretty sure he's still somewhat young, my guess is 26-28 range? If he comes at the right price sure, let's just hope this isn't Tutan Reyes again
  2. I hear Ralph Wilson is a bad tipper, not sure if that means anything but, it's just what I hear
  3. In a shocking move Marv Levy and the Bills give retired OL Jon Fina a 6 year, 35 million dollar deal with 26 million guarenteed.
  4. I don't think Ramirez is a guy we'd look at. It seemed like we were going for more athletic linemen that can work a little in space, and he's a plodder who won't offer much in pass protection. I like Grubbs, but Blalock is the real thing and would change our line from day one.
  5. Granted yeah it's hard to find trading partners and there's no promise your guy will still be there, and as we've seen from Marv he has no problem staying put and taking the guy he wants but, our OL has to improve and I've heard people say Marv wants to do it through FA and my question is are you kidding me? These free agent linemen want huge money that I don't see us throwing around, no more stopgaps on the lines, draft real talent that we can develop.
  6. Top guard in the class, and we could probably trade down and pick up an extra pick. I'm all for him, anybody else?
  7. If we're dealing McGahee, then I struggle to find our feature back in this year's draft. We aren't getting AP, and I think we'll be turned off by Lynch, so who's our guy? Is there a number one back outside of those two?
  8. Lawrence Timmons, Florida State?...I'd take him, don't let me hear you say Posluzny, I might throw up. Kid is trash, at least at our #12 spot.
  9. I might holler at Luke, but LaVar, I'll get at him when I get at him? Know what I'm saying?
  10. Yeah his status is up in the air, as of right now its a soft verbal to WVU, but he's probably heading to prep school which means he won't end up there. From what I've read he's had a pretty rough life and doesn't really like the spotlight and isn't comfortable with all the press he gets, he used to live with Deion Sanders in Texas but got homesick real fast, took Deion's escalade and drove himself to the airport, left the keys the car however, nice kid.....I think he ends up staying home at FSU, they've been on him for years and never waivered when everybody else did, plus he's got 2 kids(Maybe Devine is one of Willis' random kids) and will probably want to be around them. I guess we can forget about Marv drafting him in 3-4 years
  11. Yeah Spurrier really landed a great class at South Carolina(And to think, the states best player went to Florida)....I follow recruiting alot and I've learned that ESPN's rankings aren't very reliable, you can't miss with UF and USC at the top, but they follow the big names rather than the truly good talents. ND's rankings are always inflated, on and off the field, and getting an INSANELY hyped QB like Clausen doesn't hurt. They call him a " 10 year prospect", I've seen alot of him, and I don't see that. But, who knows with any of these kids, half of them don't qualify or end up flaming out or getting lost among the depth charts at places like USC and UF.
  12. Sorry but there is NO WAY Notre Dame's class can even touch USC's. ND has a solid collection of offensive talent, their ranking gets a major boost because of 5*QB Jimmy Clausen being so hyped. They, as usual, get no defensive impact players. USC has a monster class, can almost rival Florida's. ND has also been losing alot of guys today, top 15 class, not top 2 like USC.
  13. It's without question an injustice. Anybody else sick of the fact that women/girls pleaded for equality but yet, everytime they hit a guy,and get hit back, they go and call the cops and scream abuse? Or if some stupid little 15 year old slob like the one we read about feels like going to a party, getting drunk, high and screws 2-3 guys, and wakes up feeling bad about it, she can scream rape and put good men behind bars, for really doing nothing wrong but being men? So the kid smoked pot, big deal, nowaways that is the LEAST of our concerns out on these streets, there are far worse dealings going down on the corners. He did well in school and in society, isn't that all you can really ask of a young man? 10 years? Pfff, unreal. These girls today man, they get away with murder
  14. Yeah its official, hes a Chicago Cub. Oh well, I didn't really want the kid anyways, I wish him luck playing with that horrid franchise
  15. Disagree, Marty didn't lose that game for SD, muffed punts, dropped passes, stupid penalties did. In my eyes the coach is like the ultimate chess player, hes looking over the entire game, and should plan moves ahead, adjust, and put the team in good positions to win. He just doesnt do that. Thats marty's downfall, and why he probably will get fired. He's always been a guy who can only go as far as his talent can take him
  16. Not trying to be a jerk, but if that's what our draft looks like I'll jump off a cliff
  17. Anybody else think Brohm's decision to stay affected maybe a guy like Colt Brennan's decision to go? With Brohm out of the picture it would appear like Brennan would be #3 behind Russell and Quinn
  18. Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii* JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU Antonio Pittman,RB,Ohio State* Darius Walker,RB,Notre Dame Adrian Peterson,RB,Oklahoma Chris Henry, RB, Arizona Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal Gary Russell, RB, Minnesota Ramonce Taylor, RB, Texas Michael Bush,RB,Louisville Danny Ware, RB, Georgia Dwayne Wright, RB, Fresno State Ted Ginn Jr, WR,Ohio State* Calvin Johnson, WR, GT Dwayne Jarrett, WR,USC Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee Anthony Gonzales,WR,Ohio State Sidney Rice, WR, SC Greg Olsen, TE, Miami Fla Zach Miller,TE,Arizona State Luke-Smith Anderson,TE,Idaho Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas Alan Branch, DT, Michigan Stanley Doughty, DT, SC Charles Johnson, DE, UGA Jarvis Moss,DE,Florida Antwan Applewhite,DE,San Diego State Rory Johnson,LB, Ole Miss Brandon Siler,LB,Florida* Jon Beason,LB,Miami-Fla Lawrence Timmons,LB, Florida State Chris Houston,CB, Arkansas Ryan Smith,CB,Florida Reggie Nelson,S,Florida Darrelle Revis,CB,Pitt Eric Wright,CB,UNLV CJ Gaddis,CB,Clemson Wow alot of early entries as of yet, this bolds well for us in terms of maybe somebody's need position popped up and one fo the better prospects will fall to us at 12, or make it more attractive for somebody to trade up for. I like our chances
  19. Keyshawn Johnson anyone? And I don't think his big board is who he projects to go in those spots, I think it's nothing more than him rating the best players in the draft top to bottom.

  23. Yeah he looks like he could be special, but again, with so many other holes, how do we reeally justify an RB unless Willis is out of the picture
  24. To be honest I'm truly clueless as to where we're going in terms of the draft, obviously free agency plays a big part. I'm not in favor of a 1st round RB unless we trade McGahee or firmly go into his contract year with the intention of letting him walk. And Peterson or Lynch would have to fall to us, personally, I'd take Lynch, not as beat up and more explosive. AP looks like a Fred Taylor clone to me. As usual, we're bad enough to miss the playoffs but not bad enough to land one of the elite players.
