Summerall made golf watchable, and helped make watching football a Sunday institution. Madden helped in his goofball way later on, but it was Summerall who made watching 6+ hours of Sunday football something the wives were just going to have to deal with. The original Monday Night Football crew invented that time slot. Who the hell cared about Monday night until That Show hit the airwaves. Gumble's an ego-driven mediocrity- what he's saying is currently pretty true, but he's saying it because he was never worth a damn as a broadcaster, therefore his ego tells him nobody is worth a damn. And there have been a TON of great local/team broadcasters too. Gumble's always been a tool.

First round on interior offensive line to me means they make those around them better. Attitude, athleticism, smarts/qb of the OL, whatever they bring, they have to elevate the line as a whole to spend a first on them. Beyond that I'm looking at a lower round and relying on coaching to make a cohesive unit.

I can still remember the nerves on the first day moving into the dorms... the rest is a blur (well, some of it). I loved so many of the peoples I went to school with. Still have an eternal bond with some. After a bit of settling in with the new roomies, I remember some cheerleaders (one I may still have a crush on) came to our room and said to keep our doors open (literally and figuratively). It was absolutely the correct advice.
