This is the right way to think about the draft-- don't reach, get someone in the top basket/tier still available. That's why I want them to trade up.

Kyle Shanahan and Chris Simms were college roommates and teammates and remain friends, Shanahan was his first guest on his podcast when he moved to NBC, I highly doubt Kyle is giving him bad info. Simms never breaks news he's just an analyst, he just has info here because of his boy.

Both Marino and his colleague at Draft Network, Kyle Crabbs, have been approached more than once to get involved with scouting for a team at the entry level and passed. They have families and don't want to work entry level in such a volatile, unpredictable field.
