  1. I hate that guy!
  2. Too few good, young quarterbacks? Palmer Brees Rivers Cutler Edwards Rodgers Roethlisberger Romo Eli At what point are there enough good young QBs for this guy?
  3. I assume this is some sort of sarcasm?
  4. Our offense now doesn't care about time of possession, they just happen to have a quarterback who excels in the short/intermediate passing game, so thats what they utilize. Its all about scoring points. What coach would worry about whether or not they win the time of possession stat?
  5. Then why did you enter this thread? OP, I agree with you. Teams that don't field good defenses usually fizzle out down the stretch, and thats what Denver is. Cutler is a good one, but he isn't Peyton Manning. Alot of people on this board are afraid to say it, mostly for subjective reasons, but I think the Bills are the best and most balanced team in the AFC, according to the info we have up to this point.
  6. That isn't on the return unit. When the league's best punter is punting from his own 40 yard line, you're usually not going to get a return. Thats just the way it is. Its got nothing to do with blocking, unless you think we should have dragged their gunners to the turf to stop them from running under the kick.
  7. Denver has no D, thats got to hurt them down the stretch.
  8. So against a schedule that is average (by definition), the Bills have performed spectacularly. A perfect record against a middle-of-the-pack schedule? Not bad, not bad at all.
  9. That would be my point. You're using our opponent's combined record to judge the Bills, yet its the Bills who decide our opponent's combined record. Circular reasoning.
  10. What would their record be if the Bills had lost to them?
  11. This would be the question. Don't cave here and give up Lynch without getting fair value: play some hardball of your own, and show (even if its just a bluff) that you're not afraid to go at it with Edwards and Palmer. Edwards has great matchups this week and next, so he should keep the ship afloat. After a couple of weeks of seeing McNabb's points waste away on his bench while he can't generate points from his RBs, the guy will hopefully see its in his best interest to get something done. imo Orange, Edwards gets the start next week in a really good matchup of his own. Palmer needs to play his way back into the lineup. But yeah, if Palmer can't get it done against Cleveland buftex, then you'll know for sure you've got to make some kind of deal.
  12. Apparently, Troupe was released by Tampa on the 16th, and then signed with Oakland three days later.
  13. Link No surprises. Lets get 'em boys! GO BILLS!
  14. Tell me about it. What a mess! We may limp into the playoffs due to Milwaukee collapsing even more violently than we have. Wagner's injury is such a shame.
  15. George Wilson? Bryan Scott? As Lori pointed out, Copeland Bryan? Steve Johnson? If they wanted to give Crowell a chance to come back, they could have found a way.
  16. To me, half the fun of being a fan is partaking in overenthusiastic, rampant speculation. The players and coaches need to have tunnel vision and be 100% focused on the Raiders...but the beauty of my role is that I don't have to be, and no incredible speculation I come up with will change the team's destiny. I've never understood the "stop! lets just win this game!" attitude. Nothing we talk about will change anything, so why not talk?
  17. This. Same goes for Indy winning 12 imo. Not with the defense playing the way it has, and now without Bob Sanders. They may beat out the Titans, but I don't see them winning 12.
  18. Yeah, I was actually carrying 3 QBs for the first couple weeks cause I wasn't 100% sure any of them would be legit starters. I still have Cutler and Matt Schaub. Too late regarding DeSean Jackson, he got scooped up after his big week 1. I just added Vincent Jackson, and I'll have to find another bye week fill-in. Maybe David Patten if Colston is still out, they have a good matchup that week.
  19. Instead of making a new thread, I'll just ask this here. We start 3 WRs, and my starters are currently Chad Johnson, Lee Evans and Dwayne Bowe. I've just dealt Kurt Warner and Kevin Walter to add Santonio Holmes. I figure if Chad Johnson gets back to form, I'll have an extra WR to trade, and if he doesn't, I've just replaced him. One problem is my daunting week 6 on the horizon: Marshawn Lynch, Larry Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Lee Evans, Santonio Holmes, and Bills D will all be out for their bye week. How did I do? Fair value for Warner?
  20. Definitely wouldn't give up Lynch here, and wouldn't want to let Turner go either. Assuming you start one QB, you should be able to get something done with Chris Johnson or TJ. If the guy really plays hardball, I may consider Turner for Cutler, that doesn't seem out of the question. McNabb wouldn't be worth it imho.
  21. Does anybody perform well in bad weather? Isn't that why they call it bad weather?
  22. For a Bills fan in need? I got your back.
  23. Well...I am well-connected, but I don't know if I can help much here...
  24. Anybody mention Elizabeth Hurley yet? smokin and a third
