  1. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: You do realize this is one of those "everybody's wrong but me" scenarios, right?
  2. See, I'd rather stay as close as we can to the Pats*, assuming they're the ones who will be standing between us and a division crown.
  3. I understand. You'll just have to take me at my word for what my intentions were. The lengthy preamble was added for what I thought would be relevance and in hopes to avoid a litany of follow up questions. Admittedly, and I do believe I mentioned this before "did we get away with one" was a very regrettable choice of words.
  4. OMG, dude. GIVE IT THE !@#$ UP! It's not 2012 anymore. The defense didn't cost us the !@#$ing game. They did practically everything within their mortal power to keep us in it...AND WE WERE! In fact we were !@#$ing winning until :06 to go!
  5. Though it does always seem to happen this way, and while that would be a temporary kick in the pants, I'm actually kinda hoping it happens...
  6. My intent was in the title. I'm not sure why it was lost on so many.
  7. Haha, as I've stated in this thread--several times--I didn't come here to calibrate my moral compass. I came here to find out how long manual swipes take to process. The former became a diversion of the latter.
  8. What a difference those penalties made!
  9. So then you'll freely admit you were wrong to say that Bills fans are done with the "it's the qb's fault" excuse??
  10. While the eeked by us, and while that sucks, any Patriots* loss is good for us. I've had a gut feeling they're going to drop one to New York Thursday. Wouldn't that be !@#$ing insane?
  11. I'm not making any **** up, bro. I'm really not. His words: it was harder than it looked. I've already rescinded any criticism if it was "taken out of context." So let me !@#$ing repeat it for you again: I'm more hung up on your claim that Bills fans don't excuse him by saying "it's not Stevie, it's the QB," when in fact they did...A LOT. But for some reason you're refusing to acknowledge this. It's a shame that we can't have an open, honest discussion about the guy. It really is.
  12. http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjkiebus/reasons-you-should-drink-the-tom-brady-haterade The combine video is !@#$ing amazing.
  13. So, in response to me telling you not to argue history when presented with a new set of information, you post more history? And so what? The Pats* made mistakes. Unless the offense plays flawlessly, our defense deserves zero credit?
  14. And again, I'm not that hung up on what Stevie did or didn't say. Your claim that Bills fans won't be making the quarterback excuse for Stevie any longer was wildly inaccurate.
  15. Okay, but in 2013, none of that **** has happened. So until the defense gives us no chance to stay in a game (like they did about 50% of the time last year, even in games our offense miraculously kept pace (Titans)), it hasn't happened. The defense looked great Sunday against Tom !@#$ing Brady. They gave the offense all the chances they needed to win. Last year it worked in reverse. That is cause for optimism. Why you're reversing it, I cannot tell.
  16. How did this thread continue after these two accurate posts?
  17. Well, it's the latter that has me more hung up. In spite of what people here will have you believe, I'm not on a crusade against Stevie. I'll only get agitated when he legitimately does/says something that's stupid. Yesterday, the words that became the focal point were "it was harder than it looked" (or something to that effect). If he said that, and if it's not being taken out of context--though it seems it might have been--that sounds like him trying to absolve himself of the blame. So, if he owned up to it, good. I looked for the full presser yesterday, it wasn't posted, only the buffalobills.com extracted (read: edited/approved) excerpts. If more has been posted since, I honestly haven't looked for it. But, again, this stemmed from the "Fitz excuse is over." Well, if you read the first few pages of this thread, you'll see that it was very much alive and well, that the drop was due to a poorly thrown ball.
  18. His own words can be interpreted however you like. But to insinuate that no BIlls fan has made the claim is utterly false.
  19. Made it up!? Did you read his comments? Have you read this thread?
  20. You're severely outnumbered. I didn't vote for Obama. He's still my President.
  21. Evidently the QB excuse is not gone, since the critical drop was on a "poorly thrown ball."
  22. They were 11/20. Hardly a beat down.
  23. Still camped out on that unproven hypothesis.
  24. I disagree with a lot of fans standing up, slamming their fists and declaring "play calling!" when a.) they don't know wtf they're talking about and b.) it's clear that execution of those plays, more often than not, was atrocious.
