If you read any of the analyses that have come out, you'd know that left guard was not the reason CJ consistently ran the ball poorly. Meanwhile Freddy went for like 65 yards on about 13 carries..
20+: 2

10-15: 3
5-10: 3
2-5: 12
0-1: 11

For the most part, the run D was not that bad. I know, this time you're going by the eyes test, and stats mean nothing, just thought I'd try.
A total of 19 runs for 3 yards or less.
Uuuh...I expect the opposite to come true. I expect him to have a VERY frustrating day. If we managed to confuse Brady, Cam's in for a helluva time...on the road...behind a compromised line.
Since we fooled Tom Brady on a handful of plays (so say some of the all-22 analyses I've read), I have a feeling we're going to confuse the **** out of Cam Newton.
Everyone at Lincoln Station in Chicago cheered when this guy touched down during the pregame reel, then went 'daaaaaaaaaaaaaah!' when he ate ****. No more fitting an omen, if you ask me. :-)
No one you're replied because you're categorically wrong.
As for the "stop CJ" gameplan, read the WGR All-22 breakdown. CJ had penty of cutback lanes that he just didn't take...for whatever reason. The opportunities were there. He just missed them.
Thanks for dropping by. I always enjoy some fan-insight.
That said, your assessment of your team's DLine seems unreasonably optimistic.
With that kind of talent in your front 7, I'm curious what has been the deciding factor in losses.
Do you have ****ty special teams?
Does Cam make bad throws?
Is there one area in which your defense is particularly vulnerable?
You're hopeless. If you didn't see a noticeably better defense, if you didn't see a defense that--for once--looked like it belonged in the NFL, then you either weren't watching, or you don't know squat about football.
