  1. The defense is due. Stop Jamaal Charles, and you stop the Chiefs.
  2. Why haven't they signed Peyton Hillis yet!???!?!?!
  3. So then his 54 yarder from our 24 was a mistake? So was the 45 yarder from our 15? Then he had one GOOD point among three?
  4. Does one terrible punt in three make for a great game these days? I'm talking about the booming 39 yarder from our 18. Can't call a game "great" when that constitutes 33% of your attempts, IMO.
  5. Yep. Hughes assignment on the bomb WAS Stills...
  6. Lewis was due for a handful of mistakes, he simply was. It's the damned law of averages. He's a third string PS quarterback...from Duke. Every down he went without making a mistake meant one was waiting on the horizon. That said, I do think he got his ya-ya's out against New Orleans, and will be a much different player this week at home. Granted, it was Duke, but he practically wrote the record books there, including most attempts without an interception--a stat I've glommed onto for hope these last few weeks!
  7. Yeah, I don't know how how he didn't defend the last TD either, and yes, he should have had the pick, and the TD to Moore was inches (at most) from his finger tips. If their game plan was to pick on him, he certainly didn't look as beat up as Rogers has...so that's a plus. Otherwise--and you hate !@#$ing saying this, because we're forced to say the same thing about Thad--what do you expect? Those are three plays right there that may be an elite CB makes, and the game is COMPLETELY different. Robey is an UDRFA...if he makes those plays, he's the national story. So we're left with two scenarios: one where the UDRFA plays like he's meant to, one where he displays super human prowess. Can we really be sour that we didn't get the latter?
  8. Actually, that was the dialed-up coverage. Marrone said so in his presser.
  9. The Chiefs' last four opponents have had LOUSY offenses, and the margin is starting to get more and more narrow, with sputtering Cleveland and Houston the latest to take them for a ride. Do they start the season 9-0? I think not. And the Chiefs defense is NOT that much better than New Orleans'...if at all.
  10. I hear ya. We're worst in the league at passing TD's allowed. Granted, on the flipside we're tops at rushing TD's allowed, but they two numbers sort of cancel each other out. I think we're going to win this weekend, and like I said before, not until the 1v1 toss up on 3nd 20 wherein our UDRFA CB was on the losing end of a Brees hookup (he's not the first, he certainly won't be the last), did I think we weren't completetly outmatched.
  11. Okay--well, I'm going with what happened. If you choose to counter with speculation, that's all you. Shredded? By a first-ballot hall of famer coming off his bye week in a dome where he and his head coach haven't lost since the 2010 season. Yeah, our team sucks.
  12. Most frequent yards gained: 2012 THREE 12.8% ONE 11.76% TWO 10.5% NEGATIVE 9.24% FOUR 8.4% 2013 TWO 18.88% THREE 12.02% ZERO 11.59% ONE 10.73% FIVE 9.01%
  13. The Niners game last year, the Bears game in 2006, the home Jets game in 2010 (the last game I went to)-- these are games that come to mind when I think of games in which we never had a prayer. Yesterday, in spite of the fact of having a rookie coaching staff and a third string PS quarterback, doesn't feel the same way. Also, this year's 3-5 feels MUCH different than when were 3-5 after the Texans game last year, doesn't it?
  14. Stats wise they do? You should take a look at those stats side by side.
  15. One penalty led to a negated INT, which led to a TD.--7 points One penalty on a third down gave them an extra first, led to a TD, should have been a field goal--4 points First touchdown came from the SECOND chance at a very short field--7 points. 18 points were the difference in this game.
  16. It was like watching a preseason game from the New Orleans feed yesterday.
  17. You knew what I meant, Smarty Pants. Soo... draft picks and stuff. A sixth and seventh would do?
  18. Trade him for what?
  19. Stevie deserves mad props for his bravery and strength today.
  20. Two bad calls made worse by two bad challenges. Can't give up second half timeouts. Coach is letting his frustration get to him.
  21. Pettine bringing it today, got these guys locked down...LOVE IT. Also TD throw wasn't too sharp. Replay showed that Stevie was WAY more open than the throw made him look. He could have, should have been entirely untouched. Whatever the !@#$ ever, I'll take it. GO BILLS!!
  22. I'm really confused as to why you're boasting about this...on a Bills message board...
  23. Fingers crossed Lawson is back
