  1. He also cost Lovie Smith his job.
  2. That may be true. But why would you take him on your team and expect that from him? Bring him in and let him do his thing. We have enough offensive weapons on this team that his speed and ability to rush would drive defenses bananas. Plus, the dude can sling it.
  3. Missed field goals and bonehead plays cost the Jets this game. Not the scheme.
  4. According to Peter King's gut, fwiw. http://mmqb.si.com/2014/12/02/rams-st-louis-police-ferguson-nfl-week-13-mailbag/ It's the last mailbag segment. But watch anyway, the first one is about what a great job Marrone has done, and I'm sure many here would agree! As for Kaepernick, if he becomes available, I would LOVE to see him in a Bills uniform. Get him out of the pocket and let him do his thing. His down year is an aberration directly correlated to the push for him to be a more stationary QB.
  5. Um...Mike Martz has a LOUSY track record dating back a decade and a half. Just sayin.
  6. That's right, folks. Even if Brees were available, some fans wouldn't want him.
  7. What about the one he spiked seven feet short of Sammy on the comeback route?
  8. In this scenario Drew Brees is the hunky all-star QB (obviously), and we're the mousy, yet unconquered nerd-chick who gets real hot once those glasses come off and that hair comes down. I'm fine with that. We've played 12 games this year. Zero in bad weather. Of the remaining four, one will be in California.
  9. I believe there are MANY posters on this board what would have referred to the game plan as some chicken **** conservative playing not to lose bull ****. But I agree with you.
  10. It's fair to say that. But they also have no running game. But they've made a killing this year on big play opportunities. The KC dink and dunk model doesn't bode well if Arizona--at home, with that nasty defense--is playing their game.
  11. Uh...that's KINDA true. More like: they tried like hell for 3.5 quarters to win while keeping the ball out of his hands. Then, at the end, he showed us all why.
  12. I think it's unlikely that someone separates, unless one team gets REAL hot--hotter than they've been all season. That's why I rolled my eyes a few weeks ago when even the national pundits said it would take 11 to get in. Shoot, at this point, it's easy to find ways that 9 will do the trick!
  13. Steelers (7-5) @ Cincy (8-3-1) (1) Chargers (7-5) v New England (9-3) (2) Ravens (7-5) @ Miami (7-5) (3) Chiefs (7-5) @ Arizona (9-3) (4) Browns (7-5) v Indy (8-4) (5) Not to make the Denver game THAT much more important or anything...
  14. Please do us all a favor and post this to the jinx thread. Thanks! Also, seems like as good of an opportunity to re-purpose this bad boy:
  15. Well, 9-7 and finishing 3-1 are two completely different things. But okay.
  16. Ha, yeah. It's predicated on a big !@#$ing "if" though!
  17. Agreed 100%
  18. If we split the next two weeks then take care of business in Oakland (as I suspect we will), we will likely be looking at a win-and-in scenario in Foxboro week 17. I can think of nothing more stressful.
  19. Subscribe on iTunes.
  20. ...the third time since 1993 the Bills have made it at least until week 16 without once dipping below .500. So that's something.
  21. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we've come full circle.
  22. Making the most of what they got. Seriously. I think they're severely hamstrung by their talent. I think they're missing key pieces and simply can't work around it to do what they WANT to do.
  23. I'm not certain what Trestman has done to prove himself to be a good coordinator. Cutler (gun slinger) has two receivers he can just throw it up for and they bring it down...
