  1. oooooohhhh.....that was good! Now I got the munchees.
  2. So....Leodis McKelvin isn't even a 3rd string CB??
  3. And Steve Smith is only 5'9" and who wouldn't want him outside.
  4. I'm hoping he gets better as time goes on. I watched the Eagles yearbook last night and it features VY's 18 play 4th qtr drive to come back and beat the Giants last year. He looked pretty darn good on the drive. We'll see.....history says you need a good 2nd QB or be very lucky.
  5. Doesn't say who wrote this but it looks like a paraphrase of John Warrow's article from AP.
  6. Pretty scary to think our D-line has to try and sack a QB that light on his feet.....it's almost like he has "Tinkerbell" wings on them.
  7. Thanks P.T.R., so many guys coming back from the knife, but ya get the idea.
  8. Since he had the same ACL repair as Wood at about the same time lets not freak over taking a practice off yet.I wood think they are still bringing him along slowly, same as Eric.
  9. He was the man, left way to early.Yankn it out for the boys in blue in Miami, LOL.
  10. Not exactly seats as we stood the whole night. Another a-plus from my "way back machine". Back in the day( probably 1970-71)while doing some duty at MCAS EL TORO we hopped over to the Sunset Strip, walking past the Whisky A-Go-Go we decided to check it out.. I'm thinking there was like a $3.00 cover and 2 drink minimum. On stage the warm up band "Redbone" with Lolly Vasquez in floor length war bonnet. Followed by Jefferson Airplane with Gracie Slick.... talk about a live intimate show .WOW. For the younger Bills fans , here are a couple u tube clips of the bands. and the Airplane http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TS0dUrF6mQ&feature=fvst
  11. Back in the late 70's my wife was doing charity work with Dean Torrence's mom in Florida. "Jan and Dean" of surfer music fame had a concert at The Sunrise Music Theatre and Deans mom sent a Limo up to WPB to pick us up. Front row seats. After the show; backstage to their rooms for party with family, press ect. Totally cool, talked late into the next morning about hot cars, the California scene, ect ect. Very friendly down to earth people for stars.
  12. So..... It appears this thread has proven race has nothing to do with the fact that ; we can't just all get along!!
  13. Bills numbers get a bit deceiving because of the Ralphs almost 740000 seating capacity, only 6 other stadiums in the NFL have more seats. Add to that the ice bowl games and the 12 year drought and presto. 2012 should be rocking the house. Interesting the Public address now has a freehand to incite the fans during the game, like the Bills ever needed that!Except in Toronto.
  14. And Mario telling him before Mark signed that Mario would beat him in sacks...that whole interview....thats some funny -hit right there.
  15. Something I've noticed about championship teams is they don't fall in love with their players, even their great ones. Corey only had like 10 ST tackles all last year and was very rarely in the lineup blocking for any big runs. Most of our 3rd, 4th dwn short yardage runs were from the WC. The bills are one of only a few teams that still carry a true FB on the roster anymore.
  16. Agreed he is a good guy and ST player and is sometimes used as a decoy????, but 139 total yards in an 8 year career is far from deceptive or productive. I question whether that justifies a 2012 roster spot if Dickerson shows anything in camp.
  17. That to me is a real problem. Granted,Corey is a pretty good blocker but it's also been pretty obvious if he is in there it is to block. That takes away any element of surprise. Why not just use an extra OL in the backfield for short yardage then?
  18. Corey Mcintyre has been a good special teams player for the Bills for 4 years now, I believe he was a special teams captain. He has been less than productive as an offensive player however, having gained less than 140 total yards rushing and rec. in his entire 8 year NFL career. At age 33 he is also getting a little long in the tooth( pun intended/ likes those vampire eyeteeth). This preseason could be his swansong on the Bills roster. Dorin Dickerson has been brought in to add some competion to the FB/HB/TE position. He is a 24 year old from Pitt. who has posted sub 4.4 40 times and is so adapt at catching the ball that he has even worked out at WR. He also has the Dave Wannstedt Pitt . connection going for him. Thus far in OTA's he has been taking most of the 1st team FB/HB snaps.Coach Gailey has stated that he wants to get more production from a position that has been overlooked on this team for several years now and has almost gushed at times of Dorin's potential there as well as his good blocking ability. Add to this the depth the team has now to fill out the special teams roster with players like Tank C. and Nigel B.to mention just a few and things don't appear to rosey for Corey's chances for a 2012 roster spot. What say you my TBD friends.
  19. What is his weight now. Is guard the only position he gets reps at? What line does he get reps with 2, 3, ect? What areas of his game does he feel needs to improve most, least, ect? If he wasn't a football player what career path would he follow?
  20. Seems like OBD is a little behind TBD on this. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/144850-more-conspiracy-fuel-updated-at-post-28/page__p__2442725__fromsearch__1#entry2442725
  21. No.... see you and Tim play in New jersey...
  22. Family used to have a cabin built on top of a huge rock outcropping on Ministic Lake...real moose n bear country.Had a bull moose roll my aunt's VW bug over one year when she blew the horn to get it off the trail. Remember a whole hill full of bear caves at one end of the lake smelled so bad when you'd walk by them....carefully.
  23. Used to do the sportsbar thing when I was younger, now it's the recliner and Sunday ticket. Hope to go to game this year if I'm still kickin.LOL.
