  1. I say he does and it affects his performance. 17/35 168 yds 1 TD 2 INT
  2. Yeah, and hopefully Braylon will play as crappy as Ted Ginn did against McGee.
  3. You rule Mr. Rooney, granted you are insane and probably have shitt yourself three times today but I still love you.
  4. Dick is already a failure. Dick has already gotten an extension for being a failure. Ralph is crazy.
  5. EDIT: I'm a really nice guy. I don't mind getting pancaked by a defensive end most of the time, it makes them happy. What I really like to do is at the beginning of every play is sprint as fast as I can down the field and work backwards. This way I help the other team a little bit, just like coach Jauron sais we are all a big family and need to get along. I don't want to be mean and sack the other team's quarterback.....That could hurt him." -Chris Kelsay, with the rest of our D-Line nodding in approval.
  6. I couldn't agree more, he is a beast but I wonder what kind of production he would be allowed to have here in Buffalo where he would most likely end up in coverage a lot.
  7. I agree that he isn't going anywhere. If by "stabilized" you mean consistent failure then I agree.
  8. This is an excellent post and an excellent question. Jauron has an almost hippy-ish "everything will be okay" kind of approach to coaching and I think that this translates its way into the play and dedication of his players. As long as a player tries hard and promises to work on his mistakes it'll be okay, we'll get through this. How many other coaches would continue to allow this type of play from an offensive line? a backfield? a QB? a TE? a secondary? I believe that other coaches would show some fire and have the simple realization that this team is slipping away. There seems to be no repercussions for terrible play, look at Robert Royal, Jason Peters, Derrick Dockery, etc etc etc. (the list is huge at this point) Anyone think that maybe these guys need to sit for a game and feel a bit of embarrassment and shame for playing like garbage? Dick Jauron has the amazing ability to take a team of backups (last year) and lead them into medocrity, he also has the amazing ability to take a team of talented players (this year) and lead them into mediocrity. Can't knock him for consistency I guess. He aims for steady which in the NFl translates into 7-9 or 8-8. He's not complaining though, just straight getting paid.
  9. I suppose he could be better than what I give him credit for since I generally feel that he is mediocre. Maybe he's just shittty, even that's better than mediocre.
  10. How many of Buffalo's wins this year were flukes? Oakland? St. Louis? Jax?
  11. My money is on Jauron taking control of the playcalling or at least telling Turk to change his philosophy when choosing plays.
  12. 1. Fire Dick Jauron immediately, promote Bobby April to head coach, not on an interim basis, give him at least this remaining season and next. At least April has some innovation and is not unwilling to try something risky (see week 1) 2. Release Jason Peters. At this point he is not going to garner a good trade next season and ever since his return the OL has looked it's worst in years, trust me that other teams have noticed this too. Releasing him may light a fire underneath other players like Dockery or Fowler. No one has a safe job, you need to produce to stay here. 3. Drop the whole "high motor" and "character" requirements from 1st and 2nd on the list of good attributes. As long as this team stays away from the Pacman Jones' of the league I think it'll be okay. Randy Moss and TO have both become amazingly productive players on their teams but neither would have ever been considered here in Bflo because of "character". It's about winning, not feeling good. Teams with supposed "bad" chemistry seem to be winning much more than the Bills. Let's face it, "character" really means soft and more likely to follow Jauron's brainwashing. 4. Re-hire Marv Levy as only a draft specialist, while I hated the Jauron hire I did like Marv's drafts, this team aquired many starters from both. What did this team draft in 2008? A first round corner being outplayed by a fourth round corner and a tall WR who looks completely out of place? A third round DE who might as well never suit up?
  13. The whole concussion argument is retarded anyway since Trent had an amazing game against SD in his first performance after the concussion. I agree, he sucks. Trent, like JP is made to look stupid against any top 26 defense, otherwise man, he'll pick you apart all day. If your defense is like 28th or worse, then it's frigging over man, Trent will pwn you!!!!!
  14. I'm not sure about you but it really bothers me that Jauron's Bills never win big games, they only win the games that they should. All the "should wins" that you have listed are pathetic non-playoff teams.
  15. This article is the most accurate synopsis of Dick Jauron that I have ever read. Jauron is pathetic.
  16. I know isn't that so fukking pathetic. The Dolphins, a one win team a year ago has not only beaten the "playoff bound" Bills but is ahead of them in the division. "But but but, just give Jauron a few more seasons, he'll have this team winning 9 games by then" I drank the kool-aid earlier in the season, now I'm having explosive diarrhea.
  17. Agreed, knock down this paper mache empire that Levy and Jauron built and bring in someone with some fire. This is the third year of Levy-Jauron and absolutely nothing has changed. (I do know that Levy is no longer GM but he put these notions into place)
  18. That's how I would sum up my slowly degrading fanmanship (new word I guess) During the Jets game last week I spent more time out of the room texting, returning occasionally to scream at the television and accurately predict what the offense was going to do next. During the Pats game I spent more time here on TBD complaining than watching. I'm sure I'll watch next Monday night since it'll be in HD but I'm sure I'll be questioning my stupid loyalty after that game too.
  19. Actually, I find these threads to be interesting and quite telling given that more and more of them are popping up. People are jumping ship because an old stupid owner is continuing to take our financial and emotional support and refuse to take the steps to give us a good product. I'm not sure how old you are or how many years you've been a fan but if you're pushing 20+ years of following this team then the last decade and a half has been nothing but a regular punch in the face. Ralph laughs all the way to the bank. And Dick Jauron will be with us for 3 more season, Ralph isn't going to fire him and pay him for nothing and Dick Jauron is too much of a "character" guy to abandon ship.
  20. Trent Edwards has become a hybrid of Losman/Holcomb/Pennington. He is averaging .77778 touchdown passes per game. Let's face it folks, he's quite average.
  21. Jauron is 55-70 for a whopping .440 winning percentage over his career. I should also add that he has only 1 winning season in his 9 years of coaching. (1 year was as interim and I'm counting 2008 also) He has 1 playoff appearance in 9 seasons as head coach. It's not my fault that you can't google "Dick Jauron"
  22. Sorry, but this is his 3rd year with his drafted players and his selections as FA's and it is not working. He deserves to be shown the door ASAP. Wins are all that matters right? Jauron is the personification of mediocrity.
  23. Yeah, Jauron is a great coach. Please defend why he should still be the coach of this team.
