  1. Thank you...thank you for that. I lose more sleep over my customary 7-9 seasons. Inner city kids, huh? Ok...maybe they can catch one of his overthrown balls in the those nice seats.
  2. Oh,yeah I forgot...running in circles and throwing balls into the ground is revered on this site. Doing voluntary work in the community is much more important.
  3. So , Losman isn't showing up for Volunteer OTs. Can we perhaps persuade him not to show up for opening day? Get rid of this useless piece of trash for a 7th round pick if necessary.
  4. I still think the Bills should trade for GB's pick who wants a rb, grab the extra second and now you have four picks in the 2nd and 3rd (still top 100 picks) to get two lbs, a cb, and a decent rb. With the first pick, I would grab Robert Meachem...he can make an impact right away and make our running game better because he is a deep threat along with Lee. Get Harris and Durant or Okwa with the second and third, and D. Hughes with Balt.'s third. Take any of the next level rbs whoever the Bills feel fits their scheme the best with their other second pick. JMO.
  5. CB may not be so much of a need. It depends what the brass thinks of Youboty. Us fans have no clue how good he is, but DJ and ML do because they have seen him in practice. But if the Bills do draft Leon Hall, let's say, it just means that the brass have no confidence in Ashton. So how they draft will determine how good Youboty is. Taking Hughes from Cal in the third might be the best route.
  6. When was the last time you heard of a star running back that was white?
  7. Don't read into this as a politically incorrect remark, but I don't want a white runningback.
  8. Yes, Marv really screwed up with that draft last year.
  9. The person who made the obvisouly inequality with the Vick middle finger episode nailed it... this league is concerned with one thing and one thing only.... money. They don't care about the fans as long as the and revenue increases. I love the sport, hate the people, hate the greed and hate the corporate mentality. Which is exactly why I believe the league fixes games like the Pittsburg/Seattle SB.
  10. If we trade down I want Robert Meachem. Then draft a rb (Pittman?) and Justin Durant in the second, then Daymeion Hughes in the third along with another linebacker or best DL or TE.
  11. Cut or not cut, CJ is the highest rated player in the draft and could go #1.
  12. Gee, there is no bias against the bills--most games after byes, toughest schedule last two years, constant media criticism...yeah, we're paranoid despite the evidence.
  13. The rest of the photo essay is pretty cool too. And is that our DeLuca in pic #1??? Looking at that picture, I think I understand where Willis coming from.
  14. Oh, I can tell you and I'm not watching it....Bills lost in free agency...blah blah blah...McGahee and Spikes are "great" players shouldn't let them go....blah blah blah...they won't win more than 4 games blah blah blah....they overspent in free agency...blah blah blah...Ralph and Marv are too old...blah blah blah...don't be surprised if they reach again in the draft...blah blah blah...
  15. LOL! Is it reasonable to think the reason I won't read PG's post is because they are so unreasonably long.
  16. Does anybody feel we need to draft a QB on Day 2 to compete with Nall for the back-up with the loser getting the 3 spot?
  17. Gandy had Peters and Fowler around him, certainly not weak players. It was Gandy that brought the line down along with the right side. Dockery was considered the second best guard in FA, if you're not excited about his signing, I don't know what to say. Of course, I would watch the Bills. It's an expression to voice my frustration with the last 10 years of poor line play. As far as the Walker signing (to answer the other poster's question) I'm just hoping that Marv and McNally see something that others don't.
  18. What I do know is that Dockery played on a line that ranked second and seventh in rushing the last two years and he gave up only 13 1/2 sacks in four seasons. Gandy gives up 13 1/2 sacks per season (a little exaggerated..more like 11 1/2 sacks) and played on the 28th or 29th rushing offense that couldn't get a third and one more than 10% of the time. I'll take Dockery even at the price we paid...thank you very much. I'm not going through another season of watching our running back run into a pile of bodies.
  19. You know if we don't resign Hargrove we get our 5th round pick back.
  20. He doesn't like the signing of Dockery, a top ten guard (the stats to prove it!) yet he wants to sign Mike Gandy who is at the bottom of the barrel (stats to prove that, too). Go figure it?
  21. Remember my post>>> I say: 1) Bills trade Baltimore's three, next year's Baltimore three and next year's six for Michael Turner right before the draft. 2) Trade down to GB's #16 and get the extra thirds back for this year and next year 1- Draft WR Robert Meachem (that's right--WR! He will make an impact this year at some point.) 2- Draft LB Justin Durant out of Hampton (Bills' love small schools...might be #3 best linebacker) 3- Draft CB Daymeion Hughes (Cal player maybe ex-Cal coach Marv likes) 3- Draft Andy Alleman OG (sleeper pick) Marv now fills all the thin positions with two trades. I think this fills all our needs well and we get some solid players.
