It would require pick 30, next year’s first and one or both of this year’s seconds. And even that might not be enough.

As someone else posted here this week, according to the draft pick value chart, the Jets’ first round pick is worth more than all of the Bills’ 2025 picks combined. Moving into the top 10 is all but impossible.

Yeah, the notion that the Bills have tons of draft capital to move up with is silly. Those late round picks don’t buy you much, but they can be used to draft useful players…

First round picks don’t always work out (obviously), but every GM thinks their future first round picks will be great…and you are getting a young, healthy, cost-controlled player for at least 4 years. As these contract values keep exploding, first round picks will become even more valuable…

I agree that the Bengals have not handled it well, but I don't think it's possible for them to lock up Higgins, Chase and give Hendrickson a new deal, so they've got to make a choice. Other teams know that, which of course reduces the Bengals' leverage...

Not trying to defend the Bengals, who are a garbage organization, but why should they be in a hurry to deal Hendrickson? Why not demand a ransom for him. They can't afford to sign Chase, Higgins and Hendrickson, but those first two deals haven't gotten done yet, so they still have leverage. Maybe the Bengals think someone will offer more for Hendrickson closer to Draft Day...there's no reason for them to be in hurry, unless I'm missing something.
