  1. Thanks, Promo. I hadn't realized the decline with Lindell. I was actually under the impression he was still money, but I guess I should look at it a little more in depth.
  2. Nine blocked FGs and 15 overall blocks is impressive no matter how you look at it.
  3. Interesting. I wonder what Nix meant?
  4. Not to mention winnable games against the Bengals and Giants, both on the road.
  5. Because I know you were wondering about this. Buffalo was 3-1 against the AFC West, 2-2 against the NFC East, and 1-5 against the AFC East (ugh). Overall against the AFC, Buffalo was 4-8. Buffalo was 2-3 against teams that made the playoffs this year. Buffalo played 5 games against teams who finished with a record better than .500. They were 1-4 in those games. Buffalo played 7 games against teams who finished with a .500 record (which seems weird). They were 3-4 in those games. So overall, Buffalo played 12 out of 16 games against teams with a .500 record or better, and they were 4-8 in those games. In the 4 games against teams with a losing record, they were 2-2. What does all this mean??? Maybe it all comes down to one thing: the AFC East. We need to put 100% focus on beating the Pats*, Jets, and Dolphins. Do that, and everything else falls into place.
  6. Thanks for reminding me that I should start worrying about something that doesn't exist.
  7. Glad to hear, thanks for the update.
  8. I'm actually fairly optimistic about our offensive line for next season. I think these guys have been pretty good at identifying guys who fit our system, so I'm all for bringing in more. Can't have too many.
  9. I wonder how long had it been since we had someone with 3 sacks in one game?
  10. I'll be watching of course, but it just seems so sad when we are now yearning to be as mediocre as we were in the Jauron era.
  11. ...The Pats* will break the record for the most passing yards allowed in a season. Think they'll stop the game and have a ceremony for that?
  12. A+ John, well said.
  13. Thanks, jw. We'll see how serious he is in the off season, I guess.
  14. Welcome back, man. Hard times, indeed.
  15. Really? How do you figure we score 17 points?
  16. Perhaps the master plan is working, then...
  17. Criminy...you were there too and we didn't get to meet? That sucks.
  18. It was an awesome showing, I agree. But then again, my hypothesis is that most out-of-towners needed to make ticket and travel arrangements well in advance, at a time when the Bills actually looked like an NFL team. I know I made my arrangements back around the time of our last win some six or seven weeks ago. Would I have still traveled and gone to the game if the Bills stunk back then like they do now? Hard to say. I'm sure many would not have. On the less pessimistic side, Bills fans are the most dedicated and unashamed fans out there, so I bet it still would have been a decent showing regardless -- just maybe not quite as impressive.
  19. Agreed, the tailgate was awesome -- and incredibly well organized. There were supposedly 1400 people there (and it seemed like it) and there were essentially almost no lines for the food and drinks, and plenty of seating. Plus, I finally got to meet Aussie, Pinto Kenny, and Pancho Billa. How great is that? And I'd estimate the percentage of Bills fans at around 25-30%. It was impressive.
  20. Cool, thanks for sharing.
  21. I'm at the practice field tailgate, and it's awesome!!!
  22. Post of the Year. Hands down.
