Just to give an update. He is still in a drug induced coma. His neck vertabrae are broken in two places and they dont think he will walk again. He has many broken bones in his body they cant set because they cant move him to set them. He is still on a breathing machine because his lungs were collaped and damaged. Fortunately his other major organs are OK so he may just survive this, although still considered critical. It was a single car accident on a major freeway so no one knows what happened at this point. But they do know he hit a on of those freeway barrels or barrier things and flipped over many times. Thanks for the many prayers.

I really think MM is missing the boat bigtime on this.

I was posting after the game that Drew had time to throw and the OL played perhaps the best performance of the year. Check the previous posts and verify. I didn't know that about the OL and Pittsburgh and TD. Perhaps I will re-think my TD bashing and continue harping that Drew needs to be replaced. I dont think Shane or JP is a saviour at this point. But I would like to see how another QB can perform at this point with this team. What can it hurt? I think to save the season we need to start either Shane or JP and see what happens. Preferably start JP. Give him the snaps during practice and let him loose.

Have you never heard that expression? Apparently not ! It is humerous way to say that it is a bad idea.

He should be getting tons more work with the 1st team. If not MM should be shot and pissed on.

It is clear that this team is not going to make the playoffs. So lets have some fun and watch the new kid get some experience and get ready for next year. JP needs the experience and MM needs to evaluate talent for next year. It is obvious what needs to be done but these two just don't get it? I for one will be happy when TD is fired and we get a better GM talent scout working for us. It's funny how Piitsburgh is now so much better after TD leaves. Wade is doing well. LeBeau is doing great. GW is doing well in Wash.San Diego is doing good with AJ. The black def. co-ord that went to the Jets? I'm having a brain fart. Coaches we didn't hire have been successful with other teams yet we get GW and other questionable coaching staff. I see a trend here. Not to mention I'm sick of those politically correct press conference statements that are as bland as styrofoam. Why bother anymore. I prefer the Parcells type press conferences.

Yes, give JP the majority of the snaps this week and let him prepare knowing he will be starting. Bledsoe will be the backup the rest of the year. IMHO.

The reception must be bad in England. I was commenting on how much time Drew had to throw the ball last night. Drew stunk it up all on his own. Maybe the run blocking could have been better. But the pass blocking was outstanding.

I agree it was bad game this evening. But I kept noticing how much time DB had to throw the ball this evening and still it was dirt balls, behind the reciever etc.
