I was thinking the same thing.

I saw a discovery channel piece about Jesse James, the premise was that he was actually raising money (By stealing from banks) for a revival of the confederate army to rise up again and take over the south, texas and mexico. It was really interesting, they even found a cache of coins presumably buried by Jesse James. They even showed evidence that his death was staged to escape prosecution and was helped by high ranked officials.

Not among buddies.

Seems like some well places accidents could thin the herd at the feeding trough.

After reading the other thread where 49% of people dont pay federal taxes. Maybe dropping federal income tax altogether and implementing a 10% Federal VAT would be fair all the way around.

I remember an incident like that at the Niagara Falls bridge crossing. An Indian family was visiting the American side when grandpa died on the trip in the states. They tried to drive back across the border back into Canada with good ol dead grandpa. There slipup was that he couldn't answer the border guard when asked his nationality. You can't make this stuff up.

LA he is just a dude like me and you that puts his pants on one leg at a time. Don't put anybody on a pedestal, you'll just be disappointed. On a side note, my most memorable moment in live theatre was at the Bernard Shaw Theatre in Niagara on the Lake, the play was 'Much ado about nothing', the scene called for the main character to fall backwards with his crutches and sprawl on the floor. Well one crutch went skidding across the stage into the orchestra pit. So he continued with his lines, then the crutch comes sliding out from the orchestra pit back to him, where he grabs it, looks to the pit and says 'Thank you' and then continues. The place erupted in laughter. It was a funny moment where character was broken for a second. Just a brief glimpse that even tho the actor is in character, that he is just a dude.

Hi John Good stuff, I especially like the 'ribald chorus chime in with monkey applause'. You can't let these denizens of the dark get under your skin. It's their form of sick and twisted fun.
