There was so much luck. Tennessee was driving to kick a game winning FG when Eli Apple of all people tipped a pass straight up into the air right into the arms of Logan Wilson. Of that ball goes left instead of right, the Bengals probably lose that game. All of this is to say that winning close playoff games requires the bounces to go your way. If the Bills had won the coin toss in KC, they probably host the AFC championship game.

People, the starting QB for the Cincinnati Bengals is Burrow, not Burrows. You people sound like people here in Cincinnati who can’t stop putting an “s” on Kroger.

TBD Mods are the most forgiving of all NFL message boards. @FilthyBeastwould have been banned from Jungle Noise or Finheaven a long time ago.

It probably was a message board overstatement, but people like Skip Bayless and Mina Kimes are almost giddy the morning after Josh has a bad game. Bayless was saying that he would take Baker Mayfield over Josh Allen until earlier THIS SEASON. Mike Tannenbaum still says that he would take Justin Herbert over Josh. The reason for all this is because they want to have their draft night takes proven right. I just wanna make Mahomes play a road playoff game for once.

The talking heads LOVE the Bengals because they are loaded with skill position guys that were absolute stars on Saturdays. Burrow and Chase were the key players on the greatest college offense of all time at LSU, Higgins played on that Clemson team that beat Alabama in the NCG and Mixon was a stud at Oklahoma with Baker Mayfield. Outside of James Cook, the Bills skill position guys played at low-profile programs like Wyoming, Maryland, USF and Florida Atlantic. The Bengals confirm conventional wisdom regarding draft projections while the Bills almost to a man defy it. The Bengals prove draftniks correct while Josh Allen himself proves most of them all wrong and that's why they breathlessly wait for him to fail.

As @Boatdrinks mentioned above, Patrick Mahomes hasn’t had a wind game this year. He hasn’t even had to play in light rain. Didn’t even have a heat game. Somehow, he has had nearly perfect conditions for 15 straight games despite playing in an outdoor stadium. It was cold in KC on Sunday, but no wind and no snow. This Sunday in KC? Partly sunny and 51 with no wind. Monday night in Cincinnati? Rain with the chance for thunderstorms. Sometimes you just gotta laugh.

Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job

Russ is absolutely fixable, but you have to get it through to him that his strengths are not as a pocket passer. Then a coach has to bring in an OC that will run the only offense that he was successful in that has very simple reads and allows for a lot of off-schedule plays (letting Russ cook). Darrell Bevell, the coach who scouted and drafted Wilson and developed the offense that led Russ to the SB, is currently QB coach in Miami and would probably take that OC job in Denver. -
Chargers above the Bengals? The same Chargers who lost to the Raiders and only beat the Cardinals by one point within the last month?

Former Bills CB Josh Norman signs with Panthers
Low Positive replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is not as crazy as you all are making it sound. Josh Norman actually started 14 games for the 49ers last year. -
Steven Ross wants to win a SB so bad just to stick it to Goddell for punishing him for the penalties for tampering.

Tua is under incredible pressure to be “tough.” http://amp.awfulannouncing.com/espn/tua-tagovailoa-reveals-his-father-beat-him-with-a-belt-for-interceptions-gameday-crew-laughs-about-joe-jackson-methods.html

Not to turn this into a Tua thread, but yesterday I noticed that he has a really long straight-armed throwing motion. Like he’s throwing a javelin.

Kay Stevenson and Hank Bullough were by far the two worst coaches that the Bills ever had.

The Packers have the #2 ranked D against the pass.

Maybe arm strength doesn’t matter after all.
-
I don’t think so. That Kyle Shanahan system just asks so little from a QB. One read throws to fast dudes in space and hand offs.

Brock Freaking Purdy is proving you right in SF.

Waddle’s speed makes a lot of guys take bad angles.

Can”t blitz the Fins, especially if you don’t disguise it pre-snap.

Bills open as 1.5 point favorites against Bengals(O/U 49)
Low Positive replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remember, the Bengals only beat the Bucs because they turned the ball over on 4 straight possessions. They are not actually playing all that well right now, but just like in the playoffs last year they are getting extremely lucky. If Stevenson doesn’t fumble today they would have lost. The Bills have to get pressure with four and get some sacks on Burrow. Yes, Chase and Higgins will make plays but their secondary gives up plays and the weather should be good. I have watched at least part of every Bengals game this year and I really like the Bills chances. -
NFL Week # 16 - Bills at Bears - post game thread
Low Positive replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
People complaining about this game seem to have forgotten that this Bears team gave the mighty Philadelphia Eagles all that they could handle just last week. -

People, the Bengals almost lost to the Pats today. If Stevenson doesn’t fumble, they would have lost.- 226 replies
