  1. This is right as the snap is occurring, LoS in the 31:
  2. Logue is out of callups, so he’ll have to signed to the 53.
  3. To your point, the Falcons won the toss, took the ball, and scored a TD.
  4. If I was in a better mood about all of this, I would argue that you cannot win a playoff game in September/October. As to your first point, everyone in New England thinks that dynastic football teams are their birthright. Everyone, from credentialed media right down to these two Marine Biologists from Malden, Mass.
  5. They're so afraid of bringing another diva WR into the locker room after the Diggs fiasco, and it's destroying the franchise more than anything Diggs ever did. These guys are all divas. Ja'Marr Chase complains to beat reporters at his locker about targets after wins all the time, and he's the best in the game. But in order to win in this league, you need these guys. If McDermott can't handle a narcissistic a-hole like Diggs or Metcalf, then he cannot be a head coach in this league. It's part of the job. And if Josh is also asking for a "workman-like" WR room, then he's part of the problem too. Part of the skill of being a star QB in the NFL is being able to develop and maintain relationships with guys with multiple influencer girlfriends and 4 Lamborghinis. I don't think Aaron Rodgers has much in common with Devante Adams or DK Metcalf, but he wants these guys in the locker room and works to keep them happy because that's what it takes to win.
  6. Here is the current candidate list: https://www.si.com/nfl/titans-19-top-head-coach-candidates
  7. The thing that pisses me off the most is that while all of WNY and Bills Mafia everywhere wallows in this doom cycle (expect "trade Josh Allen" threads to start before they take another snap), the players all get a week off to go to the beach.
  8. Here's the rebuttal. Every single one of them claimed the same thing when Mac Jones went on that 7-game winning streak in 2021.
  9. People keep asking for a list of candidates. Here is one that SI put together for the Titans' opening, but I think it works for any team: https://www.si.com/nfl/titans-19-top-head-coach-candidates
  10. True. One of the things I keep screaming at my TV is "same dudes!!!,"meaning "how are the same dudes who played last year so much worse this year?"
  11. And the real kicker is that as soon as Gabe Davis is healthy, every team in the NFL is able to claim him from the Bills practice squad for nothing but a spot on their 53. If you look at practice squads, he sticks out as the best available WR by far.
  12. This is a valid point, as much as I don't want to hear it right now. If we accept injuries as a reason for the Ravens' struggles and the Lions loss to KC (and Washington in the playoffs last year), then we have to consider that as a reason for the Bills' struggles. But last night's first half seems like a schematic issue on defense. They beast us with a one-read QB and TWO GUYS. That just can't happen, no matter who is playing. And now Palmer is probably out for as long as 4 weeks? So, the Bills had better figure something out, and quick, or this is a lost season.
  13. I am usually with you on this, but not after that game. Telling us to breathe after that first half is simply not an argument that will fly right now. This loss feels worse than any in the McDermott era. We looked like an old team going through the motions while the Falcons looked like a young and hungry team that is on the rise. There has been a changing of the guard in the NFL, with teams that have been consistently drafting near the top on the rise and teams like the Bills looking old. The only silver lining is that the Jets still suck, but that is small consolation to Bills fans. The Bills had the chance at a roster reset after the Diggs trade, but Beane blew it by drafting traitsy guys instead of taking players with high college production that could hit the ground running. This organization seems more concerned about salary cap flexibility in three years than winning now while we still have Josh Allen in his prime. This team is one Cam Newton hit from irrelevancy again, and that thought makes me ANGRY at Beane for wasting this opportunity. Beane and McDermott will get to move on with their lives with fat bank accounts when that happens, while we languish in NFL purgatory in a new stadium that no one in WNY can afford. And even if they make a break after this season, I don't trust Pegula to not hire a dumbass retread like Mike McCarthy. So yeah. I'm depressed about the future and the present right now in ways that I wasn't after the Texans loss last year and even the Eagles loss in 2023. In fact, I can see 10 losses for this team unless they make drastic changes right now, and those changes are probably not possible mid-season.
  14. Maybe they can call that meeting after they get back from their week-long beach vacations. The players are going to be sitting with sand in their toes, drinking Mai-Tais while all of Buffalo and Bills Mafia stew for a week.
  15. The only way I think that he could be fired in-season is if they lose to Carolina and then get blown out by KC at home (two very possible outcomes). But after the season? Hell yes. This team needs a new voice and direction. It also needs a HC that can handle the huge egos of star players so that we can stop drafting and trading for "culture" guys and get the guys that make a difference in a violent sport. We also need a new GM, that will draft guys with high college production that are ready to play in year one instead of "traitsy" guys that take years to develop. This is the worst I've felt after a Bills loss in a long time. We lost last night to a young and hungry team. The Bills looked old and disinterested. I'm not sure how you fix that, but staying the course in any way should not be an option. It was absurd. There were only 4 possible things that the Falcons wanted to do last night; a handoff to Algiers, a handoff to Robinson, a pass to Robinson, or a pass to London. Penix is a Tua-style one-read passer and we allowed his first and only read to get open multiple times in key situations. That is simply embarrassing. Fire them all.
  16. I'm not going to defend him anymore. I said after the Saints game when @Mister Defense first made this argument that if we wanted him fired, we would have to see two ugly losses in a row. Well, here we are. The Pats game wasn't really an ugly loss, but the first half of that stupid game last night counts for like 5 ugly losses. I won't be surprised to learn that McDermott took over the defense in the second half of the game last night. It was more than a halftime adjustment; it was a whole different scheme. The only hope that I have for this season (slim at best) is that they can play like that (attacking defense with a higher precentage of man coverage) but better once guys come back. Babich need to be fired, and fired TODAY, or McDermott will lose the locker room if he already hasn't.
  17. Happens. This Sunday, Charvarius Ward (starting CB for the Colts) missed the game with a concussion that he suffered by running into TE Drew Ogletree during pre-game warmups. But that't not all. Anthony Richardson (Colts current backup QB and draft bust) also missed the game because he got hit in the eye when an exercise band snapped during pre-game stretching.
  18. Doesn’t matter. If the defense can’t stop anyone who cares.
  19. What did the Buffalo Bills do to piss off the NFL? That call on Tre was terrible.
  20. I wasn't trying to be argumentative or negative. I was simply making the point that in the NFL, especially in the cap era, it is rare that any team has a run of division dominance like the Pats had for almost 20 years and the Chiefs are having now. The AFC North is more the norm.
  21. Does everyone in WNY hate McDermott as much as people here do? Because if so, I get the impression that he couldn't go to Wegmans for eggs without a bunch of middle-aged men spitting in his face.
  22. The Bills? They suck! I read it right on this very message board.
  23. Interesting question. I can't find anything, except that he was committed to Duke and changed to Utah at the last second. He was only a 3-star prospect, so his options may have been limited. A spot opened up when the Utes starting safety left on his LDS mission (that's all that I can find).
