    Until you find your franchise QB you can spend to the cap and keep the good players, some by overspending a little. Help the young QB (whoever that might be) by building the best squad you can. If you find your franchise QB you can then relax and be competitive with an average roster.

    Scott Chandler is an average player that could be very helpful to your team if he were 2nd in the depth chart. You try to keep him and still look for a better starter.

    And play him where? I'm not against getting good players, and Branden is very good but not great, but you will have to pay him LT market money when you have a monster already at that position, do you pay him LT money to play RT or LOG? I don't think so.
