  1. I still don't see how their priority is not winning but think of this If Pegula gives Whaley resources to further improve scouting (that being, bringing more scouts or more money to that department) and asks Whaley to get more competition at QB and never rest until a QB is found. Tells Whaley that he has the resources to re-sign Dareus and Hughes and other players. Then tells Marrone to improve the offensive coordinator position and other coordinators as well. (O-line coach for example) Would that not be a sign that the priority is winning?
  2. Ok, we established they don't want to lose, but now you're telling us winning for this FO and coaching staff is not their first priority, please tell us what their main priority is?
  3. that tells me everything I need to know, if you don't think Marrone was viewed as good a HC candidate as any by that time there is no need to keep this conversation.
  4. Was he not a hot on everybody's list as a hot candidate? Amazing if you say no Regarding press conferences, I don't care about them either if we win or lose, they serve no purpose and people love to listen to them to nitpick them and used them to accommodate their opinions. About the punt on fourth down, he got it right against the Chiefs and he got it wrong against the Phins, the important thing is that he learns from it if he has the chance, of course.
  5. And why the hell we can't do the same thing? Why this obsessive behavior of cleaning house when the team is so close to the goal of being a great football team? Many people here believe there's a guy that can come in and change everything for better just because, a savior of sorts that with it's mere presence will heal us all. If Pegula is smart he sits down with the coach and tells him that he owes himself better coaching at the offensive coordinator position, such as he understood going in that he needed a good defensive coordinator. FWIW, over at finheaven.com there was a lot of talk about firing Philbin after that loss, I know that we shouldn't care but I thought there are similarities of what transpired with them last year and what is going on here with us this year.
  6. Would you guys have fired Philbin last year after the Phins got blanketed by the Bills and missed the playoffs? (I know they could still miss the playoffs again this year)
  7. All nice clichés, do you really believe that what they are trying to build now has negative connotations? Do you think that these guys are striving to lose? That is BS and you know it. You just don't like them and you want them canned. Newsflash the next guy in line will say the same thing when he's at the podium, because after 14 years of no playoffs, if he says nothing you will be mad about it.
  8. Bang bang play, should not be PI.
  9. I would like Marrone if he cans Hackett and let a vet OC call the plays.

  11. Isn't amazing that being 11-15 as a coach and with two months left from finishing year 2 on it, has the fans in a fire everyone frenzy?
  12. I agree there, but nothing of Tanny's game scares me.
  13. he's looks more decisive than last year, but he's not getting better with his long passing game.
  14. it's not a matter of arm strength, he lacks accuracy on long passes
  15. He's the next Alex Smith, can't complete a long pass to save his life. Good only for the regular season.
  16. They had a bad day but if we score in one of the endzone trips it changes the game completely. The pressure is on Miami and that is a match up our DL loves.
  17. Letting Whaley go would be a big mistake.
  18. After the intentional grounding After the Gilmore PI, the last two are Phin fans. http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=557328&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=180
  19. Do you think both Cowher and Dungy will abandon cushy jobs where they get 10' of make up for the grind of 16 hours a day job?
  20. what difference does it make? 6 months into the job, people will say stupid things about the character of that person if he doesn't hump the opposition right away. And if he starts fast they will say it won't last. To much cynicism among the fanbase.
  21. me neither, au contraire, he was the one firing up his teammates, maybe is something to do with Sammy and Hogan stealing his role on the offense? I don't know.
  22. whoever dresses the worst? I hope that if some get their wishes and they fire everyone, they don't nitpick stupid things like wardrobe, looks, someone's demeanor or the way they talk.
  23. I never watched Woods in College, was his body language as bad as it was last night? Maybe it's something that was always there and we didn't notice.
  24. They should still play Orton but with EJ early playbook, except the read option obviously. Go back to being a running team and let Orton show his accuracy on play action. Don't give things that an average QB like Orton can't handle.
  25. He can read minds now, that's why the flag on Orton's pass, the threw a pass before Sammy made his cut, but ole Walt knew better, there's not fooling him, Orton was throwing that away.
