All your party has to offer is hollow inspiration, the purchase of votes that are for sale by people who put a very low value on their vote, and the taking from those that have worked for something and giving to those that have not. Show me worthwhile substance in anything Hillary offers. Show me facts and numbers which improve the issues we face as a nation. She hasn't put a word (or a number) of that out there. She is the worst of what we see in politicians. Dishonest and phony. Hopefully your lady friend has many more redeeming qualities.

I really can't see a single person voting for her outside of her family. Not one. Not one, that is, that thinks integrity, a track record of accomplishment, the ability to lead and the ability solve problems are important traits for a President of our country. Seriously, nobody that calls themselves an American should support her.

Apparently there are more of these folks out there now coming out of the closet http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2015/06/03/38_year_old_dittohead_comes_out_on_air -
Run by Lawyers and not the best of them even. She will be absolutely hammered in the Presidential debates. There is endless material to work with. I'm talking about the nastiest of attacks coming from the podium right next to her.

Must one have dark skin to be African American or merely with relatives from Africa? What about dark skinned people not from Africa?. Can they call themselves African American? -

Towards a New Progressivism?
keepthefaith replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fact is, we are already practicing a great deal of progressivism through federal deficit spending with annual spending increases and bloated federal payrolls and benefits. This so called British guru is simply following our lead. -

Nothing pisses off terrorists more than a shortage of virgins which is more proof that they are 1000 years behind the times. Wouldn't you rather have a woman with some experience? -
Towards a New Progressivism?
keepthefaith replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Great, how would we pay for this if the U.S. were to adopt a similar plan? This in an environment which currently already includes large annual spending deficits, rising costs to service our debt, a SS system which is spending more than it receives and exploding public healthcare costs (medicare and medicaid)? This article is much more pleasing to read if read in a British accent. It brings out your inner progressive. -

Was in a bowling league years ago for fun. Not really a big bowler. Our team finished the season in last place. We were good at drinking beer though. We all got a plastic horses ass trophy. Pretty funny. I still have it somewhere. So the trophy is important because it brings you back to another time. -

The Red Cross uses the Clinton Foundation as a clearinghouse for the work done in Haiti. -

Conversion to the metric system will cut our debt by almost 40% overnight. I love this guy already. -

If Republicans Win in 2016

My belief is that everyone should pay Federal income at nearly the same percentage of their income. A lower bracket at the bottom of the income scale (maybe below $40K/year and adjusted for inflation) and a single upper bracket would be fairer than what we have now and puts skin in the game for all. We should not have a substantial portion of voters paying no tax nor should we have political parties determining who gets taxed at higher or lower rates. Taxes should only be adjusted across the board equally to take the politics out of the equation. Government should strive to be as efficient as possible and take as little from people as is necessary. Deductions to encourage positive behavior should remain in the tax code (home ownership, marriage, health care savings and expenses, retirement and education). The freedom of one person is not worth more than the freedom of another and all should contribute more equally. By taxing all at more similar rates, we all view government spending and behavior from a more similar perspective. Somehow even through decades of Democrat leadership here in Illinois, we have a flat state income tax at 3.75%. We have huge budget issues and now a Republican governor who wants to fix the problem and address the spending side first. A huge political showdown is coming. Democrats have zero ability now to ask the "rich" to pay more. They are being forced to solve a problem which will impact all voters the same way. It's a beautiful thing.
