  1. ST-only player who offers nothing else to the team? Sign me up! He and Tyler Matakevich can be best buds.
  2. 13 seconds from the AFC Championship* (against a team who has gotten better this offseason and has a lot more money to spend).
  3. So far... In: Rodger Saffold, G Tim Settle, DT DaQuan Jones, DT Out: Mitchell Trubisky, G Jon Feliciano, G Daryl Williams, G Harrison Phillips, DT AJ Klein, LB Levi Wallace, CB TBD Taiwan Jones, RB Matt Breida Emmanuel Sanders, WR Ike Boettger, G Bobby Hart, T Vernon Butler, DT Justin Zimmer, DT Jerry Hughes, DE Mario Addison, DE Bryan Cox, DE Efe Obada, DE 😬
  4. Well yeah, but that's a strawman argument. My point is that not all players are strictly going to sign with whoever ever offers them the most money.
  5. Meh. I think some players take hometown discounts - best example being Milano.
  6. If a deal is done and not yet announced, I'm confident in saying the social team knows. I also assume that they create some of those "Did You Know" graphics for a variety of players just in case we sign them.
  7. To be fair, they were 25th in 2020, so 😂
  8. Ford's RAS. I know some have said that Kromer likes smaller, more athletic linemen. Not sure how that aligns with Ford's attributes. Maybe someone more familiar with OL play can shed some light here.
  9. Bates, probably. He might be Plan A at this point for RG.
  10. Yup. Great story, but he has some real physical limitations. Time for an upgrade/a young guy with real potential.
  11. It got faster with Wallace leaving 😅 But really, Beane cited the need to get faster during his season ending presser. I'm sure we'll be much quicker come the season opener.
  12. This is where I'm at. I'd have loved to keep Wallace at that $ amount. But the Bills were able to convert a UDFA in Wallace into a low end #2 and a 7th rounder in Jackson into a low end #2. I'm confident in them to fill the CB spot in the draft just fine.
  13. I appreciate this writeup and assessment - it's really informative. Thank you!
  14. I'm liking the Jets' FA signings so far if I'm being honest (Tomlinson, Uzomah, Reed).
  15. It's semantics, but back 4, right? Milano/Edmunds are plenty fast for LBs. It's our DBs that are a litttttttle slow.
  16. Oh okay, got it 🤝. Yeah, I'm on the side that as much as we might want premier players at every position, it's not possible. So let's be smart with our resources and prioritize where we can. If that means getting a cheap part-time RB in FA because we can get a better CB in the draft on a cost-controlled contract, I'm all for it. I just brought up Hall because the person I was replying to did.
  17. Lol this isn't my argument, so feel free to sub in whatever RB you want for Breece Hall. My points are a.) it's perhaps it's a bit wiser to spend a 2nd on a CB than it is a RB, and b.) we're doing to have to decide what positions to prioritize.
