  1. If the money won't motivate him to be in shape, what would? I would say no way if he is there at #11.
  2. I am not sure Peters has trade value above a 1st rd pick and maybe another mid rd pick. Even though he is a proven Pro Bowl player, the Bills would be hard-pressed to find a team that would trade anything above that.
  3. I think the issue really boils down to whether the Bills want more of a blocking or receiving TE. If the offensive line can raise their level of play from last year, I would love to be able to have another option for Edwards. With TO and Evans the center of the field should open up for quick hits or slants to Parrish, Jackson/Lynch or a more athletic TE. The offense actually has a chance to score some points and take some of the pressure of the defense.
  4. I agree with you and am usually a big believer in building the lines first but I am not sure if there will be true value at 11 for a DL. I would not be upset at all though if we took care of LB in the 1st and went after a DE in the 2nd rd. I don't want to overreach based strictly on need.
  5. Unless he runs something slower than a 4.55 I would be hard pressed to see him drop out of the Top 10. His numbers and overall ability should make a few teams salivate over him regardless of which system he played in.
  6. It was mentioned on ESPN yesterday that unless there are significant team moves for the Chiefs, Gonzales probably wants out. He ranks #1 in TDs, catches and yards all time for TEs. I have had him several different years as a fantasy TE and with living in KC, I have watched him play quite a bit. He is a lock hall of famer but at this stage in his career, I wonder how much gas he has in the tank. The Eagles or Cards were brought up as a possible good fit for him now. With that being said, I still would trade a 4th rd pick or maybe a 3rd for him in a heartbeat just to improve what little playmaking we have at that position.
  7. I have to agree. You have to love Breann who went to a tongue specialist so she could swallow better.
  8. If I was GM for a day, at this point, I would add a OLB in the 1st rd, a C in the 2nd and a DE/DT in the 3rd. It would depend on who was available and what the value is but those are the Bill's biggest needs to date.
  9. Or maybe old after the 1st time it happens!
  10. Damn, there goes Rucker. Greedy Browns. I guess Winslow Jr. wasn't enough for them.
  11. I would be happy with that. Then let's look at O-line or another WR later in the draft. Marcus Monk, Steve Johnson, DeCody Fagg are all big targets who should be available.
  12. I agree. Go TE 1st and then FB. Address the O-line in the 5th or 6th and I would be pretty happy.
  13. Maybe with the 2nd pick of 4th Rd? I'd still like to see TE addressed. The need to get more than just 1 new target on offense.
  14. Great story, thanks for sharing.
  15. I really think we need to address the TE situation tomorrow. It looks like Rucker, Finley or Davis are the best options left. Any preference?
  16. At 5'11" and 205, he is another speedster. I would hope we are focusing on TE or O-line help.
  17. Well I would have had friction with him when he was defending Chad Johnson as being underpaid by the Bengals. I wish I had that problem!
  18. They have a lot to rebuild there. They used to have one of the best O-lines in the league and I think I saw one of the stats listed during the draft that listed them as tied for worst in the NFL in giving up sacks.
  19. I was thinking there is friction between Keyshawn and Steve Young. It seems like they are always contradicting each other.
  20. Did anyone else notice that the Redskins must have copied the Bills draft board? They chose Thomas, Davis and Kelly all of whom were mentioned as possible Bills picks. It will be interesting to see how they pan out there together.
  21. Ok, so who do we target for a TE now? I really doubt Davis will be around in the 3rd. Bennett, Rucker, Finley, or Davis?
