  1. Week 2 limerick: There once was a man named Tom Brady Who's actions were deemed to be shady. The Bills got the schits So they ripped off his bits, And now he pees just like a lady.
  2. Gate-Gate-Gate. Patriots get caught bribing the judge in the inevitable appeal for Gate-Gate(above).
  3. You obviously didn't read the linked article did you? ...and I thought calling people haughty d-bags was frowned upon here? It really isn't. I don't disagree that it can potentially be more easily used as an excuse for not spending(by duping the ignorant public).....but the system in and of itself is no different than non-C2C in overal spending amounts.
  4. I think KTD's "everybody knows that" line was directed not to yourself, but to the posters here who seem to be ignoring the information you gave. I think his start line of "Of course" showed that he was very happy that you posted what you did. I personally enjoy your thoughts....no need to appologize for them IMO.
  5. Using a C2C guideline is not relevant to the point you are making. A team can just as easily spend just the minimum requirement while using a non-C2C phylosophy as by using it.....if that is what the team is wanting to do.
  6. According to the Deadspin article, since the change in 2012 to digital technology, and considering mitary grade coding/decoding tech.....it is impossible to have stray signals bleed into the system (baring maybe some sort of dangerous electrical setup). This is different to a signal simply cutting out due to a loose wire or connection. If this indeed is technically impossible to occur it should be thoroughly investigated.
  7. C2C is basically an accounting guideline. Teams(including Bills) are regularly above and below it depending on circumstance. From memory I believe the Mario signing year was one where we were above C2C....and there were other years recently(ish) as well where we went over C2C. For the most part C2C really makes very little difference....with this off-season for the Bills being one of the rare exceptions.
  8. If people read this article it would answer some of the questions running through this thread. I'm not a tech-head, but if the logic in the article is sound, the NFL should be doing yet another thorough investigation involving the Patriots.
  9. I know very little about this sort of thing, but if that article is anywhere close to the money.....Wow! I wonder if the NFL actual will investigate this, or just chalk it up as a fluke unexplainable occurance and move on. Oh how I would love yet another cheating scandle for the Patriots.
  10. It really makes one wonder about the tech used for radioing in the plays. Who needs to tape hand signals when you can just listen in...
  11. I think you need to check your dictionary on the definition of "probable".
  12. Thanks guys. I imagine that the incentives will typically be reached(probowl etc) so it's a 6yr/100M extension. Better(cheaper) than I was hoping for. Thanks to you too. Hell, thanks to everyone! What a great day to be a Bills fan!
  13. Does anybody have the confirmed figure yet? I have seen reports of $108M, $100M and $95M(spotrac)....all for 6 year extensions.
  14. Your facts checker was obviously away on holidays when you wrote this.
  15. Don't blame me. I wasn't the one boasting about their solo sexual exploits on a public forum.
  16. Man, in the privacy of your own home you can do whatever sexual activity you want....but it's not really any of our business.
  17. The part I had in quotations was also an exact quote from the article....and was the part that was originally being discussed (2nd paragraph in Bills section from memory). The part that you quoted means exactly what it says. I think the point that many are missing here is....what does it matter how badly the Bills might have mismanaged in putting the team together? It is the talent on the field that counts towards whether they are good or not....not how many mistakes, cap issues, or wasted draft picks it took to get them on the field.
  18. I'm starting to get nervous about TT's indecisiveness. First he gets diamond teeth....now he finds dentists offensive. How will he cope making decisions on the field!
  19. Thanks Bill. In my mind the "we don't have a top QB" was/is by far the strongest argument against the trade. Sure, a star WR is always going to be helpful on any team but when you have a good QB throwing to a star WR....that's when it can become magical. I think the "plan" was perhaps too reliant upon the young QB(EJ) developing as hoped for into a good QB....which was a bit of a gamble. Hopefully we can achieve the desired result regardless through TT....and if not, hope EJs improvement isn't a mirage and continues.
