  1. Though I don't agree with his comment, it's just as wild as proclaiming that TT is going to be good.....or any other definitive opinion people are espousing about the QBs. Some people are going to be right.....I just hope the coaches are in that group.
  2. Those would be the intangibles the poster was referring to.
  3. And that's enough to be emphatic that he should be the starter? I don't think so....not without some sort of agenda to influence that emphatic thought.
  4. The whole preseason thing has me confused. If we are discounting the preseason games, then why are so many people really high on TT? Most wouldn't have seen him in practice....so how can they form an opinion? If one acknowledges that TT has shown himself to be potentially good, then they must also acknowledge the same about EJ.
  5. Because with the rollover rules we can move it onto next year's cap number.
  6. Montana and Young never shared starting duties. Where did you get that from?
  7. After much deliberation I think EJ will get the starter job. Both EJ and TT look extremely dangerous in this offense. A big factor is likely going to be the OL IMO. It seems to me that with good OL play(which is what it looks like we have), EJ's strengths(long ball) will be highlighted. If it looked like our OL was going to be not so good, I think that this would play to TT's strengths(escapability). I also trust our coaches and believe that they won't make decisions being adversely influenced by outdated past impressions(EJ's first 2 years).
  8. I believe he said that after TT looked good during the game.
  9. Has he? Year one preseason he got injured and year two preseason he looked really bad.
  10. I don't pretend to be a good talent analyst by any means, but I really don't understand how people are determining that TT is the clear cut starter based upon what we have seen in this offense. Don't get me wrong here. I think TT looks great. But EJ has been consistently dropping the long ball on a dime, hitting his WRs in stride, and scoring TDs. It seems a tough decision to make picking between the two IMO....maybe some of you are better at talent evaluation than I am?
  11. And without most of our starting skills players too. Pretty impressive.
  12. Then why say it in the first place. "I know something you don't know." does not really work on a discussion forum.
  13. And they are unrealistic melodramatic reasons. Everything about it smacks of "look at me".....and is somewhat suspect that his sources backed exactly what he has been saying for a very long time(except for the dangling questions which weren't answered in his mind yet). I have kept quiet about it till now but his mid-game revelation was simply too much for me. I had to say something.
  14. Which is exactly what I first stated. You were fearful that some random guy on a message board claiming to have a "source" is going to alert the league to who the Bills are starting at QB.
  15. And you still do it. What were your reasons for not stating it earlier? To provide some personal melodrama it seems.
  16. I wasn't commenting on the QB situation, I was commenting on the ridiculous way you talk about your supposed inside knowledge to the QB situation.
  17. Yeah, because some random guy on a message board claiming to have a "source" is going to alert the league to who the Bills are starting at QB?
  18. Money carries over now, so anything saved this year could be used next year.
  19. Why? I would feel more confident with EJ or TT coming into a game and taking up where the other left off than I would be with Cassel. The gameplan would be more suited for them over Cassel also.
