  1. Please tell me what I can do to improve your impression of me....Seriously, I'm crushed right now.
  2. Looks like she got a $40,000 settlement. Moral to this story...Disrespect and disobey the cops long enough to force them to physically arrest you and wait for the taxpayer cash to roll in. Of course it helps if you can pull the "little old lady" card when your horrible behavior gets you in trouble.
  3. How about the guillotine that was passed off as a paper cutter! Those things could chop off an arm. http://www.papercutterstore.com/cart/large...sp?image_id=655
  4. Somewhere a group of politicians are laughing and fist bumping each other.
  5. Those of you who feel insurance companies should be forced to accept everyone regardless of pre-existing conditions should start an insurance company that accepts people with pre-existing conditions. See how long before you are in debt up to your ears and out of business. Does anyone understand that insurance is a business not a charity? They cannot pay for the care of their clients who get sick AFTER purchasing a policy if they are forced to accept every client that wals in the door. If you feel that people with pre-existing conditions should receive free health care, that's fine. By directing your anger at a business that has to make money to provide service to the millions of clients it serves, you are showing your lack of understanding of the concept of insurance. I also see two different issues being discussed. Dropping people from coverage who get sick is entirely different than refusing to accept new customers that are already sick. There are many issues that need to be fixed in the health car industry, but forcing insurance companies to lose money is not the way to solve the problem. I must give the government credit though, they have come up with a perfect strategy to take over the healthcare industry by convincing the ignorant masses that the enemy is the "greedy" insurance company.
  6. I wonder if Whoopie would consent to being "not rape raped" (drugged and sodomized) in order to prove her point that he doesn't deserve to be prosecuted. The only problem would be finding a blind, deaf, incredibly desperate man to agree to the experiment.
  7. I do not have any problem at all with Owens not talking to the media. As a matter of fact I prefer it. Don't pretend to defend my "right as a paying fan" to hear Owens speak. Tony Dungy lost what little bit of credibility he had when he defended Michael Vick. Maybe if Owens tortured and killed a puppy on the podium Dungy would be more supportive.
  8. He also stated today that the toughest thing about his job is coming to grips with the fact that the idiots that go to Bills games are his audience.
  9. Weddingmoon! Get married at a tropical resort and only invite a few people. Throw an informal party when you get back.
  10. I've had my health insurance licenses for ten years and have sold small group and individual insurance in almost every state. I work with people who have lost their jobs and need to find individual coverage or sign up for COBRA. Where did you do all your research? Blaming the evil insurance company CEOs for making too much profit (that's their job by the way) is not going to solve anything. Until people demand the best service at the lowest costs from their health care providers, and in turn their insurance companies, the insurance companies will simply charge whatever is necessary to cover those inflated costs. It's obviously not the only change necessary, but it makes a hell of a lot more sense than trying to churn up anger at companies that make too much money. Here's a newsflash, they are not going to stop maximizing profits and when they cannot make a profit they will stop providing the service. (probably what the government is shooting for anyway) I guess the politicians figure that it worked with the oil companies, why not try it again.
  11. Huh? Just keep blaming everyone else and play the victim card whenever possible. I noticed you didn't bother to answer my question though.
  12. And when you use that brilliant logic a few times a month you have wasted enough money on luxuries to pay for health insurance. Here is a question for the outspoken advocates of healthcare reform. Last time you went to the doctor or had a non-emergency procedure performed, did you research the cost and success rates of the available doctors and hospitals? Did you make sure that you were being charged the correct amount and using the most economical option available? Or did you simply pay your co-pay and turn a blind eye to the costs since it didn't affect your bottom line at the time? Maybe if more people held hospitals accountable at the time of service we wouldn't see such abuse in billing. Maybe you are a huge part of the problem and need to take responsibility for some of the messed up system we have today. People spend more time and effort researching a major appliance purchase than knee surgery.
  13. I wonder how many people who "can't afford" health insurance have wasted $10 on a movie, $15 for soda & popcorn or $100 a month on cable to support these great humanatarians and their modest lifestyles? *I know this is just supposed to be a funny skit, but I get sick of the ridiculous hypocrisy of celebrities.
  14. The Bills won a game by 13 and fall 2 spots while the Dolphins lose and remain at #20 with an 0-2 record?
  15. I'm sure there are many ignorant white people who would not vote for or support Obama due to racism. I would be willing to bet that the percentage of black people who voted for Obama simply because he was black is pretty high too. I wonder if Jimmy has a problem with the fact that an extremely high percentage of black people voted along racial lines? Many of whom probably did not vote in previous elections when only white people were running. How about we try to expose and end racism from all races?
  16. I'm not saying he is a huge DE, but I was responding to the poster that said "Maybin's arms look like two rubber bands. Has a chest the size of a sparrow".

  18. One of Clooney's classier moments: (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Clooney) Michelle Solomon wrote in her article Celebrity Chatter: Up-Close With George Clooney, published in Staff Writer (2/3/03) "On the same day we spoke, headlines had just broke that Clooney was at a dinner for film awards and made what some people perceived as an inappropriate remark about Charlton Heston. As first reported by syndicated columnist Liz Smith, Clooney was speaking at a National Board of Review event and said: "Charlton Heston announced again today that he is suffering from Alzheimer's." "It was a joke," Clooney said. "They got the quote wrong. What I said was 'The head of the NRA announced today...' (Filmmaker) Michael Moore had just gotten an award. Anyway, Charlton Heston shows up with guns over his head after a school shooting and then says in the documentary it's because of ethnic diversity that we have problems with violence in America. I think he's going to have to take whatever hits he gets. It was just a joke. That was someone else trying to make a bigger story." [29] When asked if the actor went too far with his remarks, Clooney responded by saying, "I don't care. Charlton Heston is the head of the National Rifle Association; he deserves whatever anyone says about him."[30] Heston himself commented, "It just goes to show that sometimes class does skip a generation," referring to Clooney's late aunt, Rosemary Clooney.[30] Heston further commented on the Clooney joke: "I don't know the man—never met him, never even spoken to him, but I feel sorry for George Clooney—one day he may get Alzheimer's disease. I served my country in World War II. I survived that—I guess I can survive some bad words from this fellow".[31] Clooney said he subsequently apologized to Heston in a letter, and that he received a positive response from Heston's wife.[4] Whether you like the man or not, Heston's response was pretty good.
  19. You couldn't find one of 5,215 negative threads to post this on? Give those of us that haven't stepped up to the edge of the bridge one measly thread!
  20. Awesome....Another self rightous "I gave up on the team and need others to validate my decision" post. I can assure you that most of us that bought season tickets don't feel the need to explain why we enjoy spending the day eating, drinking and cheering with friends and family to someone like you.
  21. Just when I thought I had seen the dumbest post possible on this board, somebody proves otherwise!
  22. I actually see people with a newspaper or book held up against the steering wheel while driving on the thruway and 490 on my way to work in the morning. I have witnessed people reading while driving many times and it blows me away to think that they see nothing wrong with that.
  23. I adore every animal too...some are just tastier than others. "meat is murder. Sweet delicious murder"
