why? Dungy never had full control when he was head coach of either the Bucs or Colts and have you not realized yet that Ralph will never give up control of this team
-
Garrett was the QB coach of the Dolphins for 2 years before becoming OC of the Cowboys

Leslie Frazier choice is starting to sound VERY good

he is the head coach at Texas A&M i think he is a decent head coach and is head and shoulders above Jauron....how different things may have been -

I also wanted a proven head coach but it doesnt look like that is going to happen the only negative I have with Frazier is that he runs the Cover 2....its easy to knock the guy for having outstanding talent, ive knocked him for it but he also has to get them to play and come up with a gameplan that works and he has today then again maybe i am talking myself into thinking he is a better coach then he is since its becoming obvious he will be the next head coach of the Bills the key to the Bills being a better team next year and beyond is getting a real offensive staff in here so if he can bring a legit staff in here im fine with Frazier at this point -
Anyone Else Hear What Quadry Ismael Said
Max997 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Quadry is a dope and usually just repeats what others report and is this really any surprise to anyone? the Bills are basically the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NFL...happy to be in the league and making money but will usually never compete for a championship -

Seattle interviewed Frazier and Washington interviewed Jerry Gray get your facts straight -

how good do you think Lewis actually is? only two playoff appearances and no playoff wins in how many years now? Bengals had a good year but he is coach of the year partly because of reasons outside of football and since when does coach of the year mean anything more then just having a good year? Jauron won coach of the year once, does that mean he is a good head coach? -
its horrible watching these games indoors

Arizona Cardinals vs New Orleans Saints
Max997 replied to ProjectPat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
so you would base his entire coaching career off one game on the road in a dome against a very good team? -
I dont agree with that....the Cover 2 allows the Safety's to back up and keep their eyes on the QB at all times instead of having to turn and Cover...with their eyes on the QB it enables them to react faster to where the ball is being thrown some guys just have a feel for the ball and getting interceptions and some guys dont...remember when Henry Jones first got into the lineup for the Bills in the early 90's...he always seemed to be in the right spot for those tipped passes

Bills want an offensive minded coach
Max997 replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
well if that is the case then it does sound like they are pinpointing Garrett because unless Cameron is a darkhorse candidate, what other OC is left? -
Lynch is a top 5 back in the NFL
Max997 replied to Trent is Unstoppable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah they are really head and shoulders above DeAngelo Williams and James Stewart in Carolina where are all these new members coming from that continue to post ridiculous crap like this -
Kiffin continues to show what a d-bag he is

as someone else mentioned, # 1 rushing offense in the league with a rookie QB...if thats not impressive I dont know what is doesnt that make it more impressive that they can still run the ball as well as they do without much of a passing game? he is committed to the run and his scheme works
-
Maybe B.Schott brings someone from Rex Ryan's staff to run the defense in Buffalo...how nice would it be to see the Bills play an aggressive defense like that
-
I would prefer Brian Schottenheimer...I also dont want to see the cover 2 again in Buffalo B.Schottenheimer really impressed me with his play calling against the Bengals especially at the end when he decided to keep running when he could have easily felt the pressure and called a few unnecessary pass plays. He is dedicated to the running game obviously which is a big bonus and something we have all been calling for so its a natural fit in my opinion. Frazier is a cover 2 guy and could be the benefit of outstanding talent on the Vikes. I wouldnt be so against him if he ran another system though. I prefer the Bills hire someone with head coaching experience but if they decide to go with a co-ordinator B.Schottenheimer is at the top of my list and maybe hiring him would also bring his dad as well to some type of front office position (of course Marty is and has been my number 1 choice overall)

I remember Rob Johnson having one good game with Jax, dont think there were more then that why would you rather have McNabb? I would agree if the Bills were a QB away from competing but putting McNabb on this team would be pointless and if he does get traded out of Philly Im guesing he would want to go to a contender
-
how exactly is Kolb a proven cold weather QB? i hope you are not referring to those two starts he got this year in September in Philly why would the Eagles trade their heir apparent to McNabb who they used a high second round pick on for a mid-round pick?
-
TO was suspended and eventually cut by the team so what exactly did Trotter do? Kevin Smith missed the last three games after getting hurt but still put up solid numbers in his second year playing for a bad Detroit team with either a rookie QB, Culpepper or that other scrub they have 217 rushing attempts for 747 with a 3.4 average and 4 TDs 41 receptions for 415 with a 10.1 average and 1 TD what were Lynch's numbers this year? would they have been better then Smith's on Detroit...not even close and yes your arguments of a guy like Trotter would give Lynch a whopping as you call it and that Kevin Smith isnt any good are both weak
-
have you ever even watched Kevin Smith play? he is one of their best players and an outstanding receiver out of the backfield as well give ML a whopping if he acted up...how comical is that, what are you 10 wasnt Trotter on the Eagles when TO acted up? what exactly did he do, was there a whopping involved? your arguments are weak
-
you honestly think any of thse teams or any team in general would give up a 3rd round pick for a guy that has been in trouble the last two offseasons and appears to be in trouble again? are you kidding me Lynch doesnt have much value why would any team trade a high pick for Lynch when they can use the same pick to draft a RB out of college that is younger, would be under contract longer, cost less and doesnt have off the field issues
-
big difference between that play and every other play...that one ended the game the Pack got screwed on numerous other plays as well...please name one the Cards got screwed on
-
Del Rio is horrible

Why doesnt a good HC want to come here?
Max997 replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the uncertain future of ownership and that the Bills will stay in Buffalo are big reasons as is the teams recent history of lack of spending on players...the cash to cap crap is still lingering -
The Pack got screwed on a couple non calls against the Cards Fitz running Woodson over then catching a TD was clearly offensive pass interference They called holding against the Pack but didnt call roughing the passer...they did however call roughing the passer against the Pack on the Fitz TD when the d-lineman was clearly blocked into Warner and easily could have been called for holding and of course the facemask on the last play refs miss plays in every game but this is a joke, all were all big plays in the game
