Jackson thinking he doesnt have to compete for his job is what bothered me the most. The Bills dont have anyone that doesnt need to compete for their job especially when the other guy is a number 1 pick. There isnt anything wrong with starting Spiller in a preseason game to see what he can do with the first unit. Jackson needs to shutup and play

who on the Bills coaching staff would have helped him improve like he has with the Eagles? im not a big andy reid fan but you cant deny what he has done with QBs i agree that the league office should not be involved in matters like this and wasnt saying i agreed with it, just signing with the eagles was the better choice for him

Vick has improved as a QB tremondously with the Eagles which he wouldnt have done with the Bills so he obviously made the right move signing there to be a backup and learn from Reid and Marty who have done well with QBs in the past Vick signing with Buffalo to be their starter would have been a disaster and we all know it

I can admit that this is who I wanted the Bills to draft if they want WR in the second round

problem with building through the draft is you only get a certain amount of picks each year so you need to hit on just about every one of them especially your top picks we all know the bills are not going to spend big in free agency but holes can filled there with second level players but the Bills refuse to go that route for the most part

You dont reach for an undersized safety when you cant stop the run and a stud DT is sitting there Ngata was as obvious a pick as Marcel was this year then the trade up for McCargo, even worse seriously, most of the posters on this board would have done better then the Bills front office, thats sad

I like Smith, he gives the Bills another playmaker on offense but he isnt that big of a loss for the Jets if the Bills signed their TE then yeah that would be a big loss

DeSean is actually better then Evans but thats all they really have right now other then Avant and with the Eagles pretty much all in for this year I expect them to at least look into trading for Evans

just a guess but I think Evans ends up with the Eagles...with Maclins mystery illness and Steve Smith out until at least Oct they need a receiver and have obviously been the most active team since the lockout ended they do have Avant but he is a classic slot third down receiver so because he isnt a true deep threat means he is not a real complement to Bryant? thats dumb logic...you dont need to be a burner to be a good complement to a number 1 receiver

I agree, the wildcat in general hasnt been a factor since the first season the phins used it and caught teams by surprise. Most teams try and be too cute with it (Eagles) and end up hurting themselves more then helping Im sure it can still work and that we will see a lot of it this year but id rather they just line up and play. I like the signing of smith though, he can contribute at RB and WR and be the 3rd QB as well. The more playmakers on offense the better
