the only concern I have about his contract is that he should honor what he signed and look to negotiate a new deal this offseason before the final year of the deal he signed just two years ago...not during the season midway through his deal

third consecutive year he is supposedly being underpaid with a contract he SIGNED this is his first year as the full time starter from day 1 so saying its his third year being underpaid is a little bit of a reach what makes you think they wont give him a new contract? they gave one to Williams and are trying to resign Fitz and Johnson who are higher priorities which for some reason people just dont understand the point is they dont have to give him a new deal at this time and have more pressing needs with players that are actually free agents after this year lets say they give him a new deal now and he ends up having a monster season, are they supposed to give him another one next year? and whats wrong with having Jackson play with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder?

he signed the deal which at the time was a nice raise for an undrafted guy that played in the world league did the Bills not show that they treat their players right by giving an extension to Kyle Williams who obviously deserved it? are they not continuing to show it by working on extensions for Fitz and Johnson who are both free agents after this season? didnt they resign Florence this offseason when he was a free agent and give him a nice raise? I am by no means a blind loyalist but all this show players they will pay them is BS

that sounds pretty weak to me...an agent isnt going to shy away from a guy they know is going to get a contract and play for a few years

cant say they would have lost but obviously was a big play...i think the score was 28-24 at the time so if that turned out to be a pick the Bills could have got the ball back still down 4 with a chance to win 31-28

do you think he thought he was underpaid when he signed this deal or do you think he was happy with it? he signed a 4 year deal that he was obviously happy with and just started year 3...he should finish the year strong and work on a new deal after this season

Spiller needs to be involved in the passing game more often and i think he will be id like to see him catch more passes on the run out of the backfield like the way the Eagles used westbrook and now mccoy

why do people point out the obvious by saying the way to beat Brady is by pressuring him up the middle isnt this the key to beating any QB? they didnt appear to miss Koppen vs the Chargers

i didnt realize they were treating him so bad...they only gave him a shot in the NFL as well as a new contract not too long ago i never understand why people get so concerned about player contracts...he signed a new deal a few years ago and if he continues to play well will get paid accordingly...there is no reason to give him a new deal now after 2 games the Bills have other more important contracts to get done

guess you missed the contract he signed not too long ago and is in the middle of...they already paid the guy there is no rush and they have to resign Fitz and Johnson so Jackson can wait

i believe he can resign with the Bills after week 10

bc players are not permitted to practice when they are on IR

the injury settlement was probably a portion of his salary so even if he signs to someones practice squad he will be making out better plus this gives him a head start on making a roster next year he obviously cares more about trying to play or at least practice then sitting around collecting a check

with the injuries at WR i think this is a no brainer...gets him on the field more

maybe D.Jones can start playing both sides of the ball, he proved in one play yesterday he is a better defender then McKelvin

the Bills gameplan should be what the Falcons and Eagles gameplans were last night...hit the QB on every play then again that should be the gameplan every week

how can you possibly think he wasnt bad at all when he got toasted by a 5th round rookie all game long? it would be different if it was Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson but not a 5th round rookie McKelvin is nothing more then a nickel slot CB at best

I said it in the gameday thread, Jones is a better defender then McKelvin David Nelson is just clutch, always need a player like him that can just get open and move the chains.
