You basically want to turn the NFL into a game of madden with no strategy other then going for it all game long which is lame Kicking is part of the game but it is a problem when teams are basically in FG range as soon as they cross the 50

That's a small DL and front 7 in general which was my thinking There hv been plenty of 4-3 LBs that could blitz they just don't rush the passer as much as 3-4 LBs. I am also a big fan of the corner blitz but again Wanny doesn't like that either

Disagree with this completely The problem is the kickers are just too good now and the game has not evolved enough to compensate The only option in my opinion is to shorten the width of the goal posts making kicks that much harder. I'd also move the line for extra points back 10 yards making it harder but still a somewhat easy kick Moving the goal posts in even a foot on each side would make a big difference

I know it was only one game but that opening loss to the Jets was pathetic and all but proved to me this season wasn't going to be any different Chan is a terrible head coach, doesnt hv a clue how to call a game and his Cracker Jack dink n dunk offense doesn't work against good teams All that n I didn't even mention the defense. I want a real coaching staff and a QB that can actually complete a 30 yard pass

What I proved is that the OP's defense of Chan based on what those other 3 teams do is severely flawed and that you still need to run the ball to win especially when you hv a below average QB and two pretty good running backs I dont know what you took from that but it seems like u missed the entire point of the conversation

Do you really not get the difference between the Giants, Pats, Packers and the Bills? Teams that hv top QBs can win without a great running game teams that don't can't, it's as simple as that. It should be Marty Schottenheimer but prob won't be I like the way the Seahawks play defense and wouldn't mind giving their DC a shot if they go first time head coach route which I don't normally like but he might be someone that would actually want the job
