You mean after he gets fired from Giants next week? It amazes me how many ppl think he would be a good head coach just bc he got the team to play hard after Jauron was fired. Most teams usually show a spark when a head coach is fired during the season

Chan is even worse as head coach then he is as OC so what would be the point of that? And please don't give me the he would be better just concentrating on being the head coach line You don't go into a season with the thought of firing the head coach after 6 games

With the right head coach and couple additions this team could at least compete for a playoff spot next year Easier said then done but they need to hire the right coach and have a great draft

I'm watching the SMU vs Fresno St bowl game today and made me wonder why June Jones doesnt get mentioned as a potential head coach in the NFL. With the Spread offense which is basically the Run and Shoot becoming the norm and with his previous NFL coaching experience you would think he would at least get a look. Im not suggesting the Bills should go after him but I'm surprised his name never seems to come up. He has previous NFL coaching experience and has done well as a head coach in college with success at Hawaii which is next to impossible and now at SMU

everything Clayton reports seems to be him speculating then actual insight...he is basically the weatherman of NFL reporting leaving himself enough room to be right either way without being definitive for the record i will boycott Bills games next year if Gailey is still the head coach

why would anyone want to keep him as OC anyway? although he is obviously better suited for OC especially if he has to answer to someone why would anyone want him to stay as OC? the offense isnt nearly as good as some think it is and he is way too pass happy

You are exaggerating this quite a bit, he certainly did not catch any flack but there were some that liked Leaf better.Although the Colts did win a super bowl (vs the Bears, why couldnt the Bills get a gift like that?) he never was able to build a solid defense through the draft there liked they planned since they used so much of their salary cap on the offensive side of the ball

People need to let the Polian thing go bc it's never going to happen. You also forgot Polian was with Carolina before going to Indy. Although he had success I'm not crazy about his choices for head coach either If Nix did get canned its obvious Whaley would be promoted but I don't see Nix going anywhere unless he refuses to fire Chan who deserves to get canned. I'm not defending Nix who I think is average at best I just don't see Ralph starting completely over again

Outside of injury updates press conferences in general are a waste of time. Every coach repeats himself every week so I really don't get why anyone even bothers listening to them There hv been plenty of coaches that call their own plays. I believe Harbaugh does it now and Reid did it up until few years ago to name a few I'm ok with head coach calling plays as long as he is a good play caller and can still manage the game. Problem with Chan is he can't do either

If Chan is not fired I will honestly boycott next seasons Bills games I usually prefer hiring a former head coach that has had success in the league and am still for that if they hire the right one (Marty) but I wouldn't be opposed to a hungry first time coach like the DC of Seattle This team can't afford to hire another retread that has never done a thing in the league as a head coach
