I'm not willing to waste away another year "developing" JP in the hopes that he might account to a hill of beans. He is a 3rd year pro on a rebuilding team. Plenty of other QBs have been in his position and had some degree of success and progession. Plenty of other QBs have been in his position and fallen flat on their face. The fact of the matter is that 50% of all 1st rd QBs are busts, clinging onto false hopw just because he was a 1st rounder is rediculous. Cut your loses and move on.

Drew Brees actually went 6-1 in his first seven games as a starter so there was an obvious reason for optimism.

He only threw the bal 15 times yesterday. What is he going to talk about? "Hey, A train, when I hand you the ball, would you like it a little higher in your chest or a little lower in your belly?"

Those lines ceratinly haven't single handedly won any games for them or allowed them to steam roll their opponents, but it has kept them in every game they have played.

I thoughts Rivers was going to be great and was disappointed the Bills didn't really have a shot at him. I watched a lot of his games in college (Wolfpack baby!) and he seemed a man amoung boys at times. I also thought Mario and Manny were going to tear up the league but they're off to slow starts. I almost puked when the Bills traded up for Big John. That guy is in no way shape or form 1st round talent.

For the first pick, I would disagree unless he is the best available at that time. At the slot we'll be drafting, and the holes in this team, I think we could draft the best available at any position and then focus on the lines.

No, the problem is that he is bad, the coaches have to try and coach around it, making our offense as boring as sh--.

Case in point: It is not a recent trend that JP is a sack machine. Did the line suddenly create a pocket for Kelly? This year, in 224 pass attempts JP has been sacked 30 times. Last year, in 228 pass attempts JP was sacked 26 times. Last year, in 230 pass attempts Holcomb was sacked 17 times.

I will need to see the whole tape, and some private time, before I can prove or disprove anything.
