    maybe they have been quitely shopping him around until now but couldn't find a team to dance with, so they cut him before the draft to give him a chance to sign with somebody.

    He has been a classy guy within their organization for many years. maybe they are just giving him a fair shot to sign with another club which may need a back before the draft.

    The only negative is that they expect a drop in draft day trades going forward as teams will not have as much time to negotiate.

    see that's why poojer put in the thread title "For Stern fans...." it really amazes me why people feel compelled to make disparaging comments on things they do not care about or do not like...or I guess "hate". But if you must you must, thanks for the contribution and even more so, bumping this thread up for even more exposure.

    Sadly I find the times to be very moderate, middle of the road. The Republican party has just been highjacked and moved so far over to the right that everything looks liberal in comparison. It's a shame.
