  1. Yeh, but I couldn't resist the comment... a la Edgar Allen Poe's "A Telltale Heart"
  2. Depends on your motives, only you and God truly know, so I suggest you say your prayers and come to Jesus on that one.
  3. This all came out from the Clinton camp with little effect, I think you would be better off coming up with a concise economic plan and timetable and hold the plan up in the lights so everyone can see. It may help a little, but not if Obama responds effectively.
  4. Now that is a good angle to go after Obama on. My personal feeling is that I would rather have Obama in there with a Republican congress than the other way around, but the Dems made the same argument in 2000 and it fell on deaf ears.... good luck.
  5. Crap, is that your argument??? As McCain found out in a presidential election, going to DC will only cause egg to end up on your face this time of year. Both sides feel it necessary to defend their own with whatever is at their disposal. Only bad things can happen by going to DC this time of year and sticking your neck out. McCain thought since he was there for so long, he could depend on friends on the other side to keep it down to a dull roar. Not going to happen, and Obama would have received the same treatment. To me it was just good judgment.
  6. Nice line, but if you really believed that you wouldn't be attacking so hard on this board. I am not defending Obama, but you keep up that attitude and your candidate will have lost the election. There are better ways to go after him and if I am a Republican, I go after his strengths.... calm demeanor, the fact that he was a law professor, and counter with a concise counter vision for American that pulls together all the themes of the McCain campaign. But they are not doing that, there is too many things from the different wings of the part to focus on message and make effective. Somewhat akin to where the Dems were at in '94.
  7. Easy on the insults their trooper dan... I am not disagreeing with you on the 18-25 year olds or the others, but both sides do it. The Dems have gotten more exposure for it, but you would be surprised how many poor nursing homes down and out bums get bussed to the polling booths with the promise of three hots and a cot by the Republicans. The people in the bone factories just want to get out for a little while.
  8. So what do you call what you are doing now??? Hypocrite, but I love your chutzpah. Reminds me of Husein's spokesman as the Americans were entering Bagdad, stating the Republican guard was kicking their a@#. But the problem is he actually believed the stuff he was shoveling. The Republicans actually offered him a job they were so impressed, but he committed suicide instead. My question is when McCain loses, what will you do... better get a big box of those anti-depressants.
  9. Duh, that is what street money is for, he who has it in certain states and cities in Illinois, PA, LA and OH often wins. Helps if the mayor of the small town is on board.
  10. Now I know you are an idiot. That tactic wins all time, what are you talking about. What do you think Sara Palin has been doing. How do you think Bush won the last election with the swift boat crap.... please. Your problem is that your candidate, McCain is either sick, health wise, he really thinks the upcoming recession is going to be bad... or more likely he has so many folks from a splintered Republican party that are grabbing at the economic message/vision thing that nothing consistent is coming through. Obama stated his principles on the bailout thing and decided that partisan politics was not the tact to take. Unlike McCain and Pelosi, who both almost screwed this up and could have saved us a $100 billion in giveaways by keeping their mouths shut.
  11. Finally learned to use a text editor, but you forgot the space between a and little. Keep working at it, at a boy. So there is hope for McCain.... P.S. Old parrots can learn new tricks, hmmm... but crotchety old dogs are still that.
  12. Because in reality, neither is McCain
  13. Should we post a link to the previous discussion or nah, this may be too much fun. We all have to go through to hazing process.
  14. It is... forget where, saw it listed somewhere this morning.
  15. I am not sure I agree that pointing out all those so called facts mean anything either. But it couldn't hurt and Romney would eat Obama's lunch and still can't understand why he isn't McCain's running mate, but then I don't understand why Hillary isn't Obama's running mate, weird political season, I agree. The powers that be are smoking something??? I don't care for either candidate for different reasons.
  16. Sorry, I only saw a snipet replay of the quote and didn't hear it correctly. You are right if that is what her mumble actually was... hmmm been out of Buffalo too long, couldn't interpret.
  17. Finally someone with an intelligent post, I thought by now the kitchen sink would have been thrown at Obama. I have seen a few utensils, but little else and it is getting too late for him.
  18. Old, tired,... whatever. Polly want a cracker???
  19. He protests too much, maybe you should hook up.
  20. When did you learn how to spell??? You have to look that one up on your instant check on this website? Careful on the accusation. I am sure I can find one post of yours with at least three misspellings. But good for you with that catch, maybe old parrots can learn new tricks?
  21. Probably and you Wingnuts will ignore everything McCain of ill repute McCain has done including his philandering. Okay, what is your point? Not saying Obama and his background doesn't raise questions, but if you are going to be fair and balanced, discuss each side otherwise don't get so holier than thou.
  22. Could you imagine more power for our most recent vps.... Cheney, Gore, Quayle...
  23. Got to put in that Palin wants more constitution power for the vp... scary. Although Cheney looks like he carved out plenty for himself, but made it unofficial so he didn't have to directly report to Congress.
  24. Hey knucklehead... sorry knuckle dragger we have already been through this one.... With today's speech recognition software, he doesn't need too, but then any tech savy person would know this.... What happened, you just get a computer and we never did find out McCain's excuse other than maybe he just got a computer. Hey my 70 year old mom with peripheral neuropathy and cancer has more computer savy then McCain sending out emails daily, please, that is not an excuse.
