    Especially when the RB is a viable option as a receiver as well. At least line them up in the backfield and motion them out if you are passing the ball. This will make the defense tip their hand a bit as to what's going on and make a LB or S account for them.

    No, not at all. My logic is being 3 weeks removed from a concussion out there taking hits versus being 1 week removed and taking hits. At no point did I give the impression I WANT Barkley as the starter over Allen. I just think it is a viable option they have thought about for this week alone given the circumstances and the upcoming bye.

    So from McDermott's patience in making the call on Webb it seems he is confident Allen will be ready to go, imo. Maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked on the field when it originally happened?

    I think he is going to be available, but I believe they will keep him as the backup this week. I believe Barkley gets the start and Josh doesn't see the field until after the bye if things go as planned.

    Played through high school. Could have played Division II football, but not on scholarship. I chose another route and didn't go to college altogether.

    Watching his throws he doesn't seem to be stepping into them like before. He is just kind of flinging them out there using all arm. I think once he is coached up on this or realizes it himself things will change.
