I don't think Bettis understands what Rex means when he says "ground and pound." It's NOT how Pittsburgh used Jerome...and his gaudy 3.9 YPC. It's how Roman used Frank Gore and the rest of the 49er offense... -

Nick O'Leary has tools to be a big factor in Bills offense
Lurker replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see them as similar at all. O'Leary is a TE/HB who can line up at multiple positions and Chandler is a one-dimensional TE with limited blocking skills... -

Way slower (5.04 vs. O'Leary's 4.93 with a bad hammy--more likely a 4.7 when healthy). Nick also lifted more than either Doyle or Williams... And as far as the Bills needs for a complementary TE/HB, which of the following guys do you think fits the bill best? Bachelor #1: Uses good technique as a run blocker and will win against players his size. Slides feet and keeps rusher squared in pass protection. Bachelor #2: Won't generate push as an in-line blocker and has limited feel and instincts as a move blocker. Bachelor #3: Positional blocker -- doesn't consistently wall off against lesser competition. Tape shows questionable desire and competitiveness when asked to run block. -
Jim Schwartz to work with NFL officials next season
Lurker replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the perfect "green room" for Jim--stay connected, get the opportunity to study every team and wait for a 2015 opening or multiple offers for 2016... -
Right now, with an untested O-line, that seems like a big reach...

Then again, so did Paul Hackett's kid...

This might help explain things... http://www.reddit.com/r/minnesotavikings/comments/36ykw0/exvikings_star_randy_moss_shows_up_at_pelican/ Head coach Mike Tice said the two have a special bond because of Moss' inclination toward children, not adults. Moss often turns down autograph requests from adults by saying, 'Too big, dawg." "Randy trusts kids, Randy doesn't trust adults," Tice said. "That's because adults throughout his career, when they knew he was going to be special, used him. Kids don't use him. Kids love him. My son loves Randy."

Report- Bills hoping to extend Dareus before Training Camp

Ok...sorry for the misquote... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/168258-perfect-quote-from-schwartz/page-3?do=findComment&comment=3150519 "104 and sunny today - heading to the pool shortly. Wasn't 'hiding' indoors- i was working. I'll never move back to Buffalo - I like buffalo a lot, but lived there 35 years, I know the weather sucks. " -

Lurker replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure, I can grasp it. Been going to games just as long. During the 2-12 years everybody was a target, including Ralph. But to say there wasn't much positive being said about him over the past 50 years is flat out incorrect. Still, since you left Buffalo 35 years ago, I guess you haven't been that close to the situation. A little hyperbole can be overlooked, I suppose... -

"Let's look at the last 50 years of comments about Ralph until he croaked. Nothing very positive about him until the end." Only according to posters too young to know better or trolls from other cities. Which are you? -

Watching them running around in their underwear will give the coaching staff an idea of who's in shape and mentally ready, but we won't know much until they hit the field at SJF.... -

Agreed. And he's a very good landscape designer... http://www.nicklaus.com/design/landscape_design.php -
Try this one, then... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protection_of_Lawful_Commerce_in_Arms_Act The purpose of the act is to prevent firearms manufacturers and dealers from being held liable fornegligence when crimes have been committed with their products. However, both manufacturers and dealers can still be held liable for damages resulting from defective products, breach of contract, criminal misconduct, and other actions for which they are directly responsible in much the same manner that any U.S. based manufacturer of consumer products (i.e. automobiles, appliances, power tools, etc.) are held responsible.

I don't know. Jack's attitude on the course was pretty similar. He wanted to bury his competition...and was pretty good at. -

I'm done with the Patriots (and NFL) when Belichick leaves. Cutting up all my Pat's gear and dumping it on the turf outside the pro shop. Go f*ck yourself, Bob. I regret investing my life in your team. I hope Tom leaves and you are in the league cellar for the next 30 years, you coward. I'm done with the New England Patriots. I want Brady to demand a trade. I will go with him, as I doubt I can remain a fan of this joke of a franchise. -

It is only for gun-related entities (manufacturers and dealers): http://nssf.org/share/PDF/Order_of_Dismissal_Phillips_v_Lucky_Gunner.pdf The Colorado General Assembly declared in 2000 the policy of the state that “civil actions in tort for any remedy arising from physical or emotional injury, physical damage, or death caused by the discharge of a firearm or ammunition shall be based only upon an actual defect in the design or manufacture of such firearm or ammunition or upon the commission of a violation of a state or federal statute or regulation and not upon any other theory of liability.” This policy was codified in C.R.S. § 13-21-504.5, which provides: 4 Case 1:14-cv-02822-RPM Document 45 Filed 03/27/15 (1) A person or other public or private entity may not bring an action in tort, other than a product liability action, against a firearms or ammunition manufacturer, importer, or dealer for any remedy arising from physical or emotional injury, physical damage, or death caused by the discharge of a firearm or ammunition. (2) In no type of action shall a firearms or ammunition manufacturer, importer, or dealer be held liable as a third party for the actions of another person. (3) The court, upon the filing of a motion to dismiss pursuant to rule 12 (b) of the Colorado rules of civil procedure, shall dismiss any action brought against a firearms or ammunition manufacturer, importer, or dealer that the court determines is prohibited under subsection (1) or (2) of this section. Upon dismissal pursuant to this subsection (3), the court shall award reasonable attorney fees, in addition to costs, to each defendant named in the action. (4) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, a firearms or ammunition manufacturer, importer, or dealer may be sued in tort for any damages proximately caused by an act of the manufacturer, importer, or dealer in violation of a state or federal statute or regulation. In any action brought pursuant to the provisions of this subsection (4), the plaintiff shall have the burden of proving by clear and convincing evidence that the defendant violated the state or federal statute or regulation.
